I love weddings; wedding cake, wedding dresses, wedding flowers, wedding couples, and last, but not least, wedding cards! The Detailed Floral Thinlits do all of the work to make this beautiful design. I folded a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, and centered the top die before running it through the Big Shot. The larger, bottom die was placed on a piece of the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper, run through the Big Shot, and glued to the bottom half of the card.

“Congratulations” and the sentiment on the inside of the card are from the Floral Phrases stamp set. I thought the occasion called for a special treatment of heat embossing the words with gold powder.  TIP: Sometimes heat embossing may cause the paper to curl. If this happens, I let it cool off for a bit, and press it flat under the weight of a couple heavy books. I used Stampin’ Up’s heat tool, Versamark, and the Embossing Buddy (a tiny pillow) which prevents stray powder from sticking to your project.

I decided at the last minute to add the two little gold hearts, which seemed just right for the happy couple!
