Today’s card is a sneak peek of my favorite, new, suite of products, available May 5th. I’ve always loved Winnie the Pooh, and I can’t tell you how excited I was to see the Stampin’ Up! suite, including  stamp sets, dies, and designer paper!

Pooh and Piglet

The first thing I did was match the Sweet Old Friend Dies to the Silly Old Bear Designer Paper. While I was cutting, I duplicated the cuts from Very Vanilla Cardstock for backing. 

Next, I cut a woods scene, 5″ X 3″, from the Silly Old Bear Designer Paper, and used a Bordered in Beauty Die (also new, and available May 5th) to trim the top and bottom. Then, I glued it to a striped pattern of Silly Old Bear DSP, 5″ X 4 1/4″, which I glued to a Mossy Meadow card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment, “the best kind of days are the days spent with you,” is from the Sweet Words & Labels Stamp Set. I stamped it in Early Espresso Ink, and used a Sweet Words & Labels Die for cutting. After attaching the sentiment with Winnie the Pooh and Piglet, my card was complete.
