On this first day of August, I want to thank all of my customers for their orders, and congratulate Marilyn K. as the winner of my drawing prize, the Prized Peony Bundle! I will send a pack of Vellum Doilies to everyone who placed a qualifying $50.00 order, as soon as I receive my shipment from Stampin’ Up! Woo Hoo!
I think you’re really going to like this month’s Host Code Gift…………the Greenery Embossing Folders! It should be really easy to qualify, because you get to order from the new, August-December 2020 Mini Catalog, beginning August 4th.
Now, for today’s card. This was my first play with the Stitched Triangles, and I combined them with Poppy Moments for a “clean & simple” card. I designed this as a “square” card, with easy instructions below.

Stitched Triangles
Instructions
Cut Thick Whisper White Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 4 1/4″, fold in the middle at 4 1/4″, making your square card base.
Use the largest Stitched Triangle to cut two triangles from Whisper White Cardstock.

Emboss the top triangle with the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder, and stamp the bottom triangle with the sentiment from the Beautiful You Stamp set. Many sentiments would be appropriate, but I liked the font of this one, and the way it filled the space.
Glue the triangles to the card front, leaving the larger border on the right and bottom.

Cut the poppy from Rainbow Glimmer Paper, using the Poppy Moments flower outline die.
Use the solid flower die to cut Vellum Cardstock, and glue the two together in the middle.
Cut the stamen from Basic Black Cardstock, glue on top of the poppy, and attach the poppy to the card front with Dimensionals.

This square size is really nice, because it fits in our medium envelopes. And, isn’t it fun for a change?
I’m entering my design in the Fab Friday challenge.

Bonjour,

Merci.
