Today’s challenge combines an airplane flying boy with an “ombre technique.”

Airplane Flyer
My ombre design was created with a stamp from the Waterfront Stamp Set and Night of Navy Ink. I began stamping at the bottom of a piece of Whisper White cardstock, and without re-inking the stamp, I stamped a second and third time. This was repeated three times, and then I cut the layer to size with a Rectangles Stitched Die.

In addition to ombre, I wanted to use the sketch from the Fusion challenge. Here’s a look.
To go along with the sketch, I adhered two rows of Whisper White Flax Ribbon with Tear&Tape.
Next, I stamped my airplane flying boy, from the Silhouette Scenes Stamp Set, in Night of Navy Ink on Thick Whisper White Cardstock. After cutting him with a Stitched Shapes Oval Die, he took his place on top of Dimensionals

Before gluing my ombre striped background to a Night of Navy card base, I stamped the sentiment in Night Of Navy Ink.
“Time for a new adventure!” is from the Well Said Stamp Set.
The envelope is one I had on hand, and I can’t remember stamping the flap, but thought it looked good with this card.

Thank you for visiting today. In case you’re wondering about the paper I used for photographing, it’s from See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper. I included it in my Product List, so you can see all 12 designs in the pack. Clicking on the picture takes you to my store for shopping. Enjoy!
