This week’s Global Design Project is a color challenge, using Peaceful Pine, Barely Blush, and Timid Tiger. I can’t wait to see how YOU use the colors. Please join our challenge, and tag your entry #gdp553.

I began stamping the flowers, from the Boutique Blossoms Stamp Set, in Timid Tiger Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used a Boutique Blossoms Die for cutting the flowers, and placed them on Dimensionals. The leaves were cut with a Boutique Blossoms Die from Bloom Boutique Designer Paper, and glued to the background, before attaching the flowers.

Boutique Blossoms on Gingham

The background is a sneak peek of new, Gingham Gallery Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, glued to a Barely Blush card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ folded at 4 1/4″. This paper will be available, in Online Exclusives, July 1. The four corners are decorated with Basic White Cardstock, cut with a Beautifully Celebrated Die.

The sentiment, “You’re the sweetest,” is from the Banner Sayings Stamp Set. I stamped it in Peaceful Pine Ink, and used a Banner Sayings Punch for cutting. To complete the design, I used a Boutique Blossoms Die to cut Basic White Cardstock flowers, curled them with a Bone Folder, and added centers of In Color Flat Pearls.
