I had so much fun making this summery card. Are you thirsty? Lots of exciting news this first day of July, so keep scrolling.
Cocktails Day
Before giving instructions for today’s card, I get to announce the winner of June’s drawing for The Gang’s All Meer Stamp Set…………Congratulations Rita! I will be mailing you the stamp set, along with the ribbon, around the middle of July.

Now for today’s instructions:
Cut Thick Whisper White Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, fold in the middle at 4 1/4″ to make your card base.
Use the largest Ornate Layers Die to cut a layer from regular weight, Whisper White Cardstock. Adhere to the card base.
Stamp three cocktail glasses from the Nothing’s Better Than Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink on Whisper White Cardstock.
Stamp the “drink” on top of the glasses in three colors of ink: Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, and Flirty Flamingo.
Color the umbrellas and fruit with the same colors of Stampin’ Blends, as shown.
Cut the glasses with the Love You More Than Die, and place on Dimensionals. I probably went overboard, but they are nice and sturdy.
Now for making the word “cocktails” with the Love You More Than Die. Cut a 2 1/2″ X 1″ piece of Foam Adhesive Sheet, remove one side of the paper, and attach a 2 1/2″ X 1″ piece of Rainbow Glimmer Paper. Place the “cocktails” die on top of the Glimmer Paper, and run it through your die cutting machine. Turn it over, and run through a second time to insure a good cut. Free the word, remove the other side of paper, and stick to your card front.
To complete the sentiment, stamp the words “today is a” and “kind of day” in Memento Black Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. I used a retired Christmas Label Die for cutting, but you could use the Classic label Punch, or a different die.

For the last day of June, I’m sharing a stenciling technique that I began a few weeks ago.
Stenciled For You
This is the card I made using the actual stencil. Clicking on the card will take you to the original post.
Laser-Cut Color
For today’s card, I used a Nature’s Thoughts Die to cut a rectangle from Whisper White Cardstock. Then, I used Sponge Daubers and three colors of ink, Mint Macaron, Granny Apple Green, and Pear Pizzazz, while holding the stencil in place. The stencil is Forever Gold Laser-Cut DSP, which you can see in my Product List below.
The card base is Pear Pizzazz Cardstock, topped with a layer of Mint Macaron, which I cut with the largest Ornate Layers Die.
The sentiment is from the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set, stamped in Old Olive Ink, and cut from Whisper White Cardstock, with an Ornate Frames Die. The frame was also cut with an Ornate Frames Die, from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock.
It’s fun making two cards from one stencil! You should give it a try!

The theme for today’s Global Design Project is “sun fun.”
I love the images in the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set. These sisters are having fun collecting seashells at the beach. Follow along to see how easy it is to recreate this scene.
Collecting Seashells
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut Sahara Sand Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, fold in the middle at 4 1/4″.
Layer with Sahara Sand Cardstock, cut with the largest Ornate Frames Die.
Use the next largest Ornate Frames Die to cut Whisper White Cardstock, making a lovely frame.
Stamp the image of the sisters in Crumb Cake Ink in the middle of the white frame. Use Stampin’ Blends for coloring; Crumb Cake (hair and skin), Pool Party (dresses), and Soft Sea Foam (pails).
Stamp “collect beautiful moments” in Crumb Cake Ink, as shown. TIP: Use the Stamparatus to insure it stamps properly.
Adhere the frames to the card base, and scatter some seashells (Woven Threads Sequins) in the sand. Now isn’t that a beautiful moment!

How do you like my trio of poppies? When designing cards, I usually pick a favorite color combo to post. But, I was indecisive today, so you get instructions for all three.
Poppy Trio
Instructions:
The card bases are Sahara Sand, Soft Sea Foam, and Thick Whisper White.
Cut the Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, and fold in the middle at 4 1/4″, making three card bases.
Cut layers of the same colors to 4″ X 5 1/4″, and emboss with the Greenery Embossing Folder. Place it so there is a 1 1/4″ border on the right side.
Using a Poppy Moments Die, cut three flowers, and three stamens, in the same card base colors.
Save the petals from the Whisper White and Soft Sea Foam, and cut an additional flower from Petal Pink Cardstock.
Emboss the petals with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder (6 petals for each flower).
Glue the flower frames to the embossed layers, and the petals, like a jigsaw puzzle. Glue the stamens on top, in the colors as shown.
The sentiment, “hello” is from the Timeless Tulip Stamp Set. Stamp it in Pear Pizzazz Ink on Whisper White and Sea Foam Cardstock, and Crumb Cake Ink on Sahara Sand Cardstock.
Use the smallest Stitched So Sweetly Die for cutting, and attach the sentiments to the card fronts with a Dimensional.
Now you have three cards to brighten someone’s day!

Today’s card will be welcoming a new member to my Stampin’ Up! team. Order a Starter Kit, and become a member of my team! There’s more details about joining, below the instructions for this card.
Button Flowers
Step by Step Instructions:
Cut Thick Whisper White Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, fold in the middle at 4 1/4″ to make your card base.
Use an Ornate Layers Die to cut a 3 1/4″ X 4 3/4″ layer from regular weight, Whisper White Cardstock. Adhere to the card base.
Cut the stems and leaves from Thick Whisper White Cardstock using a Well Written Die. You may, or may not, want to leave some leaves intact. Adhere to the layer, as shown.
Cut three sizes of flowers from 2020-2022 In Color 6X6 Designer Paper, using Ornate Borders Dies. I named these “button flowers,” because of their shape and the holes in the middle. Aren’t they cute in this new Magenta Madness color? Glue to the stems, as shown.
Use a Well Written Die to cut “welcome” from Magenta Madness Cardstock, and glue to the bottom of the layer.
Add some sparkle with Woven Threads Sequins, and your card is complete!

I’m having fun with the Playful Alphabet Dies and the new Foam Adhesive Sheets. So, here’s another masculine birthday card, which I always need.
YAY! It’s your DAY!
Instructions
Cut Thick Whisper White Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, fold in the middle at 4 1/4″.
Layer with Whisper White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, embossed with the Absolutely Argyle Embossing Folder.
Use a Stitched Nested Labels Die to cut the hexagon from Misty Moonlight Cardstock.
Use a size smaller hexagon to cut from Whisper White Cardstock, and glue the hexagons together.
To make “YAY!” cut 1/8″ strips of each of the new In Colors from the In Color 6X6 Designer Paper. You can see the four patterns in my Product List.
Cut a 2 1/4″ X 1″ piece of Foam Adhesive Sheets. Remove one paper, revealing the sticky surface, and adhere the strips of DSP, alternating the colors.
Place the Playful Alphabet Dies on the strips, and run through the die cutting machine. Turn it over, run through a second time, to insure a good cut.
Remove the paper backing, and stick the letters to your card front. I noticed I poked holes through the DSP. I’ll try being gentler next time.
“It’s your day!” is from the Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set. Stamp it in Misty Moonlight Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, and cut with a smaller Stitched Nested Die. Place it on Two Dimensionals with the right side hanging over a bit, and your card is complete.
