I’m still loving the Winterly Tree Tops Bundle, from the Sept-Dec 2024 Mini Catalog, and today’s card is one of my favorites. This card was previewed on World Card Making Day, October 5, at a Stampin’ Up! online event. Because I CASED (copied) it, I haven’t shown it on my blog, but I wanted you to see it, in case you missed it elsewhere.
World Card Making Day
The birds and branch were stamped in Versamark, sprinkled with Gold Embossing Powder, and set with the Heat Tool. Then, I used the Winterly Tree Tops Die for cutting, and colored them with Stampin’ Blends in three colors: Pool Party, Soft Sea Foam, and Bronze. The border was cut with a Winterly Tree Tops Die, which was used with a Blending Brush and Mossy Meadow Ink to color Basic White Cardstock 4″ X 5 1/4″. Before attaching the birds with Dimensionals, I glued it to a Mossy Meadow card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Don’t miss the berries! These were made with Metallic Enamel Effects in Gold and Copper. “Thinking Of You” is from the stamp set, heat embossed in Gold, cut with a die, and attached with Dimensionals.

This week’s Global Design Project is a color challenge: Pool Party, Real Red, and Granny Apple Green. I’ve been on a roll making Christmas cards, so I chose to use the colors with the Humble Home Stamp Set and Humble Home Punch. I began by stamping the outline of the house in Real Red Ink and Granny Apple Green Ink. Then, I “stamped off” the image for coloring.
“From our house to yours”
Next, I had fun using the Humble Home Punch for cutting the houses, along with Pool Party Hearts, and placed them on Dimensionals. The background is Basic White Cardstock, cut 1/8″ smaller than the Take A Bow Designer Paper beneath it, which is 3 3/4″ X 5″. I love this peppermint candy trim! Prior to attaching the houses and punched hearts, I “stamped off” three Pool Party Hearts.
“Merry Christmas” and “from our house to yours” are from the Humble Home Stamp Set, stamped in Granny Apple Green on Basic White Cardstock. After stamping, I used Perennial Postage Dies for cutting, and placed them on Dimensionals. After adding Real Red & White Peppermints to the doors, my card was complete.

Thanksgiving is a time for family to get together, and an occasion for sending cards. I began today’s card by using an Autumn Expressions Die to cut flowers from Splendid Autumn Designer Paper. Then I used the same die to cut a frame for the flowers from Textured Metallic Specialty Paper. You can see all of the colors and patterns by clicking on the pictures in my Product List below.
Autumn Thanksgiving
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5″, embossed with the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder. This is glued to a Mossy Meadow card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
To enhance the focal point, I added sprigs, also cut with an Autumn Expressions Die from Splendid Autumn DSP. I also added Wild Wheat Rustic Striped Ribbon, along the bottom, with a bow.
“Thanksgiving” is from the Choose Happy Stamp Set, stamped in Blackberry Bliss Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After Stamping, I used a Happy Little Things Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. As a finishing touch, I added three Faux Glass Dots.

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches card challenge. The row of pine trees is from the Peaceful Evergreens Stamp Set, stamped in Shaded Spruce Ink on Basic White Cardstock, 3 7/8″ X 1 1/2″. I gave it a border of Pool Party Cardstock, 1/8″ larger. The background was created with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder and Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. This embossing folder is my gift for the month of October. See below how to make it yours (you only have a few more days).
Peaceful Evergreens
After gluing the embossed layer to a Lost Lagoon card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I created the sentiment. “Merry” and “Christmas” are from the Peaceful Season Bundle, and you can see the entire set in my Product List below. I stamped “merry” in Shaded Spruce Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Don’t you love this banner? Then, I cut “Christmas” from white Glimmer Paper, and backed it with Thick Basic White Cardstock. Both words were cut with Peaceful Season Dies, and attached with Mini Dimensionals.
To complete the snowy scene, I added three Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes. This angle shows the pretty, Glimmer Paper, although, it sparkles even more in person.

This is my third sneak peek of the new, online exclusive, Among The Swallows. For the first card, I used simple stamping, for the second card, I used the “ink to stamp” technique, and for this card, I used Watercolor Pencils. If you like to color, this method is for you! If you prefer “quick & easy,” I’ve pictured, below, the two cards I made previously, and clicking on them will take you to my original blog post.
Watercolor Pencils
I began by stamping the large background stamp on Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, in Early Espresso Ink. Then, I used eight Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Pencils for coloring: Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, Flirty Flamingo, Early Espresso, and Night Of Navy. After coloring, I glued it to a Boho Blue card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
I wanted the sentiment to be inconspicuous, and found a tiny “thanks” in the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set. I stamped it in Crumb Cake Ink, used its Wonderful Thoughts Die for cutting, and glued it in place.

For today’s Global Design project, I had fun CASEing Charlet Mallett’s card, which you can see below. I decided to combine two bundles; Latte Love and More Than Autumn. See the cute die-cuts? All are from Latte Love, and the coffee beans were cut from A Little Latte Designer Paper. The large coffee cup and spoon were stamped in Early Espresso Ink, and “you’re the best part of my day” was stamped in Pecan Pie Ink. The small cups (they have slits for stacking) were cut from cardstock in Lost Lagoon, Early Espresso, and Basic White.
Coffee
The background is A Little Latte Designer Paper, glued to a Pecan Pie card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. The Lost Lagoon stripe is 4″ X 5 1/4″, and the coffee splashed strip is 2 1/2″ X 5 1/4″.
“Nothing’s better than” and “coffee” were cut with More Than Autumn Dies from Basic White Cardstock, and glued in place.
To complete the sentiment, I stamped “except maybe you” in Pecan Pie Ink, used a Happy Little Things Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
