Today’s card was made for a couple whose wedding we’ll be attending in a few weeks. It’s extra fun creating a card with someone special in mind!
Gorgeous Garden Wedding
I’ve always liked the elegance of “white on white” cards, and the Gorgeous Garden Die was perfect for filling the entire card front with white texture. I placed the die on Basic White Cardstock, 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″, and cut the gorgeous, floral pattern that I glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Next, I used a Wanted To Say Die to cut “Celebrate” from Gold Foil. Then, I used its “bubble” die to cut the backing from Basic White Cardstock. After gluing the two together, I attached the word with Dimensionals.
To complete the inside, I stamped a sentiment from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set, “This is only the beginning of a life filled with love.” To match the gold “Celebrate,” I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark on Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder, and set it with the Heat Tool. After gluing the layer inside, I used a Wanted to Say Die to cut three hearts, which I glued next to the sentiment.
I even decorated the envelope flap with white texture, using a pretty bouquet from the Wonderful Thoughts Die set. I cut two bouquets by placing the die on Basic White Cardstock, adhered to an Adhesive Sheet of equal size. Peeling the backing from the die-cut made for easy application.

Masterfully Made Designer Paper is perfect for “white & bright” cards. The floral patterned designer paper in the center of this card was 4 1/4″ X 3 1/2″ before I cut the angles with my Paper Trimmer. I “eye-balled” the shape, according to the Freshly Made Sketches challenge sketch, and glued it in the middle of a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
After gluing the designer paper, I ran the card front through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Timber Embossing Folder, to give it texture.
Flowers On An Angle
Next, I cut the leaves from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock, using a Gorgeously Made Die, and glued them in place.
Once the leaves were in place, I created the flower using Paper Florist Dies. The petals were cut from Basic White Cardstock, and the center was cut from Crushed Curry Cardstock. I curled the petals with a Bone Folder, glued them together, added the center, and attached the flower with a Dimensional.
The sentiment is from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set, and cut with its Wonderful Thoughts Die. “You’re wonderful. you’re loved. you matter.” was stamped in Memento Black Ink, and glued it in place. I was thrilled to find a sentiment that fit the space perfectly!

The artistic images in the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set are perfect for creating “clean & simple” cards. I began by embossing the Thick Basic White card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″) with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder.
Clean & Simple
Next, I used the “ink to stamp” technique with the flowers from the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set. This was done by coloring the stamp with Stampin’ Write Markers in three colors, Copper Clay, Wild Wheat, and Mossy Meadow, and stamping on Basic White Cardstock, 3″ X 5 1/2″. FYI, the markers come in color collections, rather than individually.
After coloring, I used a Gorgeously Made Die to give the flowers a torn paper edge. Then, I glued my single layer to the card base.
To complete my “clean & simple” card, I colored “just a note” with the Mossy Meadow Marker, and stamped it in place.

Before seeing today’s card, I’m happy to share that Stampin’ Up! just announced a FREE SHIPPING DAY on Wednesday, June, 21st! That’s tomorrow, so get those lists ready! It’s one day only, with a $75.00 minimum, and has to be in before midnight, Mountain Time.
I began today’s birthday card with a Boho Blue card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I created the background with Boho Blue Ink and a Bending Brush. While holding an Artistic Mix Decorative Mask in place with my hand, I smoothed the color onto Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″.
Daisies on Stenciling
Next, I used a Cheerful Daisies Die to cut the flowers from Basic White Cardstock.
I created a second set of petals by using additional Cheerful Daisies Dies to cut a pattern of Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper in Lemon Lolly and white. The leaves and sprig were cut from a Lemon Lime Twist piece of Bright & Beautiful DSP, and all were glued in place.

“Wishing you the brightest birthday” is from the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink, cut with a Cheerful Daisies Die, and attached with Dimensionals. I stamped at the top of the label, leaving room for a row of Iridescent Pearls.

The theme for this week’s Global Design Project is fruit, and I decided to create some pink grapefruit. The Sweet Citrus Stamp Set and Hybrid Embossing Folder are great for making realistic looking fruit.
Pink Grapefruit
I “stamped off” the fruit in Flirty Flamingo, making it lighter, and the skin in Daffodil Delight. Then, I used the Hybrid Embossing folder for texture, the Sweet Citrus Dies for cutting, and placed them on Dimensionals.
The leaves were stamped in Mossy Meadow, cut with their die, and glued to the grapefruit.
For the Basic White Cardstock background (4″ X 5 1/4″), I added texture with Thick Basic White Cardstock cut with a Chic Die. I love this mat, even though I had to do a little extra poking to remove all the small pieces.
“Sending you a big squeeze” is an apropos sentiment in the Sweet Citrus Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, used a Something Fancy Die for cutting, glued it to the grapefruit slice, and attached it with Dimensionals.

I hope everyone will be having a nice Father’s Day celebration. Today’s card is good for a guy, created with the Beauty Of The Deep Bundle. The first thing I did was use a Beauty Of The Deep Die to cut the “coral” from Dry Brushed Metallic Paper. You can see the shine in my last photo. Isn’t it pretty?
Beauty Of The Deep
To go with the coral, I used a Beauty Of The Deep Stamp to stamp “seaweed” in Lost Lagoon Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used a Beauty Of The Deep Die for cutting.
Next, I stamped the fish in VersaMark on Basic White Cardstock, sprinkled them with Gold Embossing Powder, set them with the Heat Tool, and used their fish die for cutting.
The background is Hello Irresistible Designer Paper that I thought would make a good underwater scene. It was cut 1/8″ smaller than the Basic White Cardstock (4″ X 5 1/4″) beneath it, and I used the largest Stylish Shapes Die to cut the circle. Everything was glued to a Lost Lagoon card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“Happy Birthday” is from the Waves Of Inspiration Stamp Set, stamped in Lost Lagoon Ink, and cut with a Sending Die. After attaching the label with Dimensionals, I added a small piece of coral, cut from the Dry Brushed Metallic Paper with a Beauty Of The Deep Die.
Attaching the fish with Dimensionals was the last step.
