I hope you’re in the mood for Santa, because he is the focal point of today’s project. I love this stamp of Santa and his reindeer from the Hearts Come Home stamp set
Santa Flies Over the Moon
The dark, starry sky was made with a piece of the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper. I rounded two corners with the Detailed Trio Punch. The Night of Navy card base was layered with Whisper White, embossed with the Oh My Stars embossing folder.
I used Layering Circle dies to make the moon, coloring it with Pineapple Punch ink and a Sponge Dauber. “Merry Christmas” is from the Star of Light stamp set, and cut with a die from Bunch of Banners.
My inspiration for the design is from this week’s CAS(E) this sketch:
The Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon was the final touch. It was calling out to me, and I couldn’t help myself!

Today’s project was in answer to the challenge at Paper Players, Lunchbox Love Notes.
I’m no longer packing lunches, but I was excited to create a masculine, love note for my husband. His favorite cards have Wood Textures and the color brown (surprise, surprise), so I made an effort to please him.
Masculine Wood Textures Love Note
The card base is Soft Suede cardstock, layered with a piece of Share What You Love Designer Series Paper. This is topped with Crumb Cake cardstock, embossed by the Corrugated embossing folder. The corrugated layer is raised on Foam Adhesive Strips.
The focal point has three die cuts, all cut from Wood Textures Designer Series Paper. The heart and the word “love” are from The Sunshine Wishes die set, and “you” is from the Celebrate You die set. They are triple layered for thickness.
You wouldn’t believe how long it took to design this masculine card; almost all day. I was watching the US Open tennis tournament while working, though, so I was distracted.
Now that it’s made, it would be simple to duplicate. You’ll find my products listed below.

I’ve always loved stuffed animals, and this teddy bear from Cookie Cutter Christmas, brings back childhood memories. Teddy bears, (even paper ones) are very loving, with the ability to offer a great deal of comfort. This one is giving “hugs.”
Cookie Cutter Teddy Bear
The Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and punch were sitting in front of me from yesterday’s project. Today, I started by stamping Teddy in Gray Granite ink on Whisper White cardstock. He came out perfectly smooth, just like the gingerbread did yesterday in the new Soft Suede ink. For an experiment, I stamped him in the older Crumb Cake ink, and he came out fuzzy. Looks like I’ll be changing all of my ink colors to the new, improved formula.
I stamped Teddy’s face in Soft Suede ink, his ears in Gray Granite, and used the Cookie Cutter Punch for cutting. He got a double layer of cardstock before placing him on dimensionals.
The Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper made a perfect background for Teddy. I glued the multi-colored star pattern to a Soft Sea Foam card base, and a strip of Pool Party stars toward the bottom. I gave the strip some detail with the Ticket Tear Border Punch (retired). The top layer was embossed with the Oh My Stars embossing folder, doubled for thickness, and glued in place.
There’s nothing quite as nice as a bear hug, so I created the sentiment, “hugs,” using the Labeler Alphabet stamp set. I stamped the four letters in Pool Party ink, hand cut them, and placed them on dimensionals.

Oh, I almost forgot; prior to gluing the first layer, I taped a piece of of the new Braided Linen Trim across the front, and added a bow. Now Teddy is ready to give a baby a bear hug.

Hello, Oh So Eclectic stamp set! It’s been a while since I played with you. It’s time to stamp with one of your fabulous flowers.
Oh So Eclectic Thank You Card
Oh So Eclectic happens to be the designated stamp set for today’s What Will You Stamp challenge. Since I’m one of the designers, I get to create a project, using a different Stampin’ Up! stamp set, every Monday morning. I sure hope you’ll play along.
I first stamped three flowers using Versamark, the Embossing Buddy, White Embossing Powder, and the Heat Tool.
Next, I colored the flowers using a Real Red Watercolor Pencil, Aqua Painter, and Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blend. And, I added two Whisper White sprigs that were cut with a die from the Eclectic Layers die set.
I decided on a Gray Granite base card with Wood Textures Designer Series Paper to surround my Whisper White, floral, art piece.
And, then I took suggestions from the challenge at TGIF. The right, row, down is: flowers-negative space-thread.
I used a label die from the Merry Christmas die set to make my negative space, leaving Wood Textures peeking through. I stamped it with “thank you” in Black ink, using the Stamparatus for positioning. The sentiment is from the Vertical Greetings stamp set.
The final detail of Silver Thread and a Silver Foil sprig were added to complete TGIF’s TIC Tac Toe challenge.

Good morning, and thanks for stopping by. I haven’t seen much gingerbread lately, so I wanted to give our Cookie Cutter Christmas a warm welcome.
Gingerbread Friends
I began by stamping the Gingerbread in Soft Suede ink, and he came out beautifully, right out of the oven! I gave the pair of gingerbread four layers of cardstock, so they’d be nice and thick.
For their background, I chose this wonderful plaid from Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper. And, a card base of Real Red to blend with it.
The sides are trimmed with two pieces of Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Paper.
The 2″ wide banner was made with the Banner Triple Punch. I first punched a Thick Whisper White piece, and then layered it with another pattern from Under the Mistletoe DSP. I stamped the sentiment from Cookie Cutter Christmas in Real Red ink, cut it to size, and glued it on top.
The final detail was the Real Red 3/8″ ribbon bow, attached with Tear & Tape.
All the time I was making this card, I had the Fab Friday sketch in mind.

It’s the last day of August, and I’m adding to my growing collection of Christmas cards. This one features the Detailed Deer in Copper Foil.
Copper Foil Rudolf
Rudolf is flying through a forest of Joyous Noel Designer Specialty Paper. The paper is special, because many of the sheets are laced with this gorgeous Copper Foil. Since deer like to be camouflaged, Rudolf asked that I give him fur of Copper Foil. Are you impressed by how smart he is?
Rudolf’s angle fits this week’s CAS(E) this sketch perfectly. See what I mean?
The base card is a new, neutral color, Gray Granite, which is the background color in the Joyous Noel DSP. The branches are Soft Suede, so I layered the DSP with Soft Suede cardstock for some contrast.
The sentiment is from the Merry Christmas to All stamp set, and I heat embossed it with Copper Embossing Powder. I used a Stitched Shapes die for cutting, and placed it according to the CAS(E) this sketch.
