Sympathy Card for Dogs

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

I love the simple images in the new stamp set, Along These Lines, and the dog is perfect for sympathy cards. I stamped the dog in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″. The sentiment, “thinking of you,” was stamped at the same time. It’s from the new, Blooming Phrases Stamp Set, which has the same curvy lines. Don’t they go well together? You can see the complete sets in my Product List below.

Long These Lines

Next, I used a Fancy Borders Die to cut two pieces of Lovely Garden Designer Paper (5 1/4″ X 3/4″) in a black & white stripe, and glued them to the top and bottom of the white cardstock. Then, I used a second, Fancy Borders Die (first photo) to cut a strip of hearts & dots (5 1/4″ X 3/4″) from 2025-2027 In Color Designer Paper in Strawberry Slush. After gluing the pieces to the stamped cardstock, I glued the layer to a Strawberry Slush card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

To complete the card, I embellished it with the “cut-out” hearts and dots created with the Fancy Border Die.

Floral Impressions with Everyday Arches

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

Today’s card began with a card sketch, which you can see below. First, I calculated the sizes of Floral Impressions Designer Paper I needed to fit the sketch. The yellow (Darling Duckling) pattern is 4 1/4″ X 3 1/2″, and the floral pattern is 3 1/2″ X 4 1/2″. I LOVE this new designer paper! I backed the floral pattern with Thick Basic White Cardstock of equal size, for sturdiness, before cutting the “window.” After cutting the “window” with the third smallest Everyday Arches Die, I placed the piece on Dimensionals.

Floral Impressions

After gluing the yellow pattern to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I stamped “thanks” in Mossy Meadow Ink. This is one of the sentiments in the Impressions Abloom Stamp Set. Next, I fussy cut two flowers and leaves from the Floral impressions Designer Paper, and placed them on Dimensionals.

To complete the card, I added five Adhesive-Backed Textured Dots, which have retired. Pressed Flower Motifs are a perfect substitute, which I’ve put in my Product List below.

This is the sketch I used for inspiration.

Flowers for Pals Blog Hop

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month’s theme is “Flowers in Bloom.” The Pals hope to inspire you with card ideas and paper craft creations using Stampin’ Up! products. Links to the Pals’ blogs are at the end of each post to help you “hop” along!

For this month’s flower theme, I wanted to show off two, new, 2025-2027 In Colors, Timid Tiger and Strawberry Slush. The flowers are featured in the wonderful, Celebratory Sips Designer Paper, as well as the die-cuts. I began by cutting the designer paper 5 1/2″ X 4″, and gluing it to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I used a Fancy Borders Die to cut two sections of Basic White Cardstock, which I glued on the top, and bottom, of the card front. Prior to gluing the top section, I used one of the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folders to give it texture.

By Su Mohr for Pals Blog Hop; Click aromasandart.com to go to my blog for details! Fancy Borders Flowers

The three flowers were cut with Happy Hibiscus Dies from three colors of cardstock: Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger, and Bubble Bath. The leaves were created with a Fancy Borders Die and Old Olive Cardstock. After gluing the leaves to the flowers, I attached them with Mini Dimensionals, and added 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls to the centers.

“Hello there,” is from the Blooming Phrases Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink. I wasn’t thinking, or I would have used the new, Secret Sea In Color. Don’t you love the font in this set? Be sure to click on the picture in my Product List below to see all of the sentiments.

Gallery Blooms for Global Design Project

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

For this week’s Global Design Project, we get to CASE Krista Frattin’s colorful card. We hope you are inspired, and will play along with us. Be sure to tag your creation #GDP496 when you share with social media.

I chose flowers from the new, Gallery Blooms Stamp Set, stamping them in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After stamping, I colored the flowers and leaves with Stampin’ Blends in three colors: Pumpkin Pie, Flirty Flamingo, and Granny Apple Green.

By Su Mohr for GDP 496; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Gallery Blooms Bundle, Beautiful Motif Dies, You Are Remarkable Stamp Set, Birch Wood Embossing Folder; #galleryblooms #beautifulmotif #youareremarkable #case #stampin'blends #birchwood #flowersoncards #foliage

The Simplest Things

Next, I used a Gallery Blooms Die to cut the flowers , and two Beautiful Motif Dies to cut the foliage from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock and Granny Apple Green Cardstock.

The frame was cut from Coastal Cabana Cardstock, using a Gallery Blooms Die. After cutting, I gave it texture with the Birch Wood Embossing Folder. Using the same die I cut Basic White Cardstock, and stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink on the center portion. “Sometimes the simplest things mean the most” is from the You are Remarkable Stamp Set.

The card base is Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. It is layered with Coastal Cabana Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, layered with Beautiful Bokeh Designer paper, 1/8″ smaller. The Lemon Lime Twist foliage, and frame, were glued flat. Three sets of Granny Apple Green Leaves were glued to the back of the flowers, and attached with Dimensionals. To complete the design, I added three Black Rhinestone Jewels (retired, but not forgotten).

Natural Botanicals for Mother’s Day

First of all, Happy Mother’s Day! May “God bless” all mothers on earth, and in Heaven, on this special day, and every day.

For today’s card, I used the Natural Botanicals Stamp Set. It’s a “reversible” stamp set, which means you can color the images by stamping on the reverse side of the stamp; the same stamp that you use for the outline. I used three of the stamps in the set, with three colors of ink; Lost Lagoon, Old Olive, and Granny Apple Green. I stamped randomly on Basic White Cardstock, 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″. After stamping, I cut the layer to 4″ X 5 1/4″, and glued it to Lost Lagoon Cardstock, 11″ X 4 1/4″, folded at 5 1/2″. This card is vertical, opening from top to bottom, for a change.

Mother’s Day

Prior to gluing, I used a Mossy Meadow Blending Brush to flick dots on the stamped leaves. Then, I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive Ink, used an Unbounded Love Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. “God bless” is from the Layers Of Beauty Stamp Set.

Last, but not least, I added three Holographic Resin Dots. You’ll find these gorgeous dots in Online Exclusives. I love how they change colors!

Feathered Fun with Stampin’ Blends

If you like birds on cards, you’re going to love this new set in the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog, Feathered Fun.  It’s a “reversible” stamp set, which means you can color the images by stamping on the reverse side of the stamp; the same stamp that you use for the outline. But, for today’s card, I stamped the heart-shaped birds in Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and colored with Stampin’ Blends: Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, Real Red, and Pumpkin Pie.

By Su Mohr; click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Feathered Fun Stamp Set, Beautiful Motif Dies, Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder, Unbounded Love Stamp Set; #pressedflowers #beautifulmotif #featheredfun #unboundedlove #hearts #stampinblends #birds #lovebirds #handmadecards #handcrafted #cardmaking

Feathered Fun

For the background, I used Basic White Cardstock, given texture with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder. Don’t you love this new embossing folder? Prior to gluing the layer to a Mossy Meadow card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow Ink. “My heart goes out to you” is from the Unbounded Love Stamp Set.

Before attaching the birds with Dimensionals, I added color and texture with a pretty branch. The branch was cut with a Beautiful Motif Die from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock. This die will be getting MUCH use!
