Color challenges are great for inspiration! This week’s TGIF challenge uses three colors: Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake, and Melon Mambo.

I was excited to use the new bundle, Lily Of The Valley, and began by stamping lilies from the stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used a Blender Pen with Coastal Cabana Ink to color the flowers. After coloring, I used a Lily Of The Valley Die for cutting.

Lily Of The Valley color challenge
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 3 1/2″ X 4 3/4″, embossed with the Floral Spray Embossing Folder. I layered it on Valley In Bloom Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, layered on a Melon Mambo card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment, “to a forever kind of friend,” is from the Lily Of The Valley Stamp Set. I stamped it in Crumb Cake Ink, used a Stylish Shapes Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. After gluing the lilies, and embellishing with gems, my card was complete.

This week’s Global Design Project is a sketch challenge. I hope you’ll join in the fun, and share your creation on social media. Don’t forget to tag it #gdp546.

Since tomorrow is the day the May-August 2026 catalog goes live, I’m giving you a sneak peek from one of my favorite suites, Waterside Retreat. The designer paper is gorgeous, and it’s suitable for masculine cards, which we all need.

Waterside Retreat Birds
To begin the design, I used the largest Spotlight On Nature Die to cut a pattern of birds from the Waterside Retreat Designer Paper. Then, I cut the plain sky, 4 1/4″ X 5 1/4″, and glued it to a Gray Granite card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. After gluing the sky to the left edge, I decided I wanted a Gray Granite border on the right side, so I trimmed off 1/4″. The circle was glued to the left edge, with the right half raised on Dimensionals.

“Enjoy your day” is from the Balloon Festoon Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink on the “sky” paper, used a Fragrant Layers Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. To complete the card, I added three 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls.

I almost forgot to tell you, I cut a circle from the “sky” paper on the card front, before gluing. As an afterthought, I glued it to the inside for a personal message.

There’s only a couple more days until the May-August 2026 Catalog goes live, and today’s card gives you a sneak peek of a favorite suite, Valley In Bloom. I began by using a Lily Of The Valley Die to cut lilies from Thick Basic White Cardstock. I backed it with a second cut, so the “overhang” would be nice and sturdy.

Valley In Bloom Sneak Peek
Next, I used the largest, Perennial Postage Die to cut a gorgeous design of Valley In Bloom Designer Paper.

After gluing the large design to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ folded at 4 1/4″, I used two smaller Perennial Postage Dies to cut solid pieces of Valley In Bloom Designer Paper. These were backed with Cardstock for thickness, glued together, and attached to the card front with Dimensionals.

“Just a note” is from the Fragrant Layers Stamp Set. I stamped it in Blackberry Bliss Ink on Basic White Cardstock, used a Fragrant Layers Die for cutting, doubled it, and attached it with Dimensionals. To complete the card, I attached the lilies, along with three, Sunset Sparkle Sequins.

I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.

For the first day in May, I’m giving you a sneak peek of a new designer paper, Artisan Sketched Garden, available May 5th. One of the many fun things at On Stage is getting to play with new products. We were given the supplies to make this card, sitting together at tables, coloring to our hearts content. I used Stampin’ Blends in three colors: Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, and Mossy Meadow.
The sentiment, “to a marvelous person on their birthday,” is from the Sending Salutations Stamp Set. This stamp set was given to everyone who attended On Stage. The circles were already cut, and we just stamped the sentiment, and attached it with Dimensionals.
There are more black and white patterns in the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP pack, providing hours of coloring fun. The number is 167752.

This is my second card using a Global Design Project sketch challenge. It should have posted the week of April 6. I began with a Sweet Bugs Die to cut three ants from the Cute As A Bug Designer Paper. (It cuts three ants at the same time). Next, I used Stylish Shapes Dies to cut three, small squares, and four, small circles from Basic White Cardstock. Then, I attached the three ants to the squares with Dimensionals.

Cute As A Bug Ants
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 3 31/2″ X 4 3/4″, glued to Cute As A Bug Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.Then, I glued the circles flat, and attached the squares with Dimensionals.

“Hello” is from the Sweet Blooms Stamp Set. I stamped it in Cajun Craze Ink on Basic White Cardstock, used a Stylish Shapes Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.

Welcome to the Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Fun Folds Blog Hop. There’s a lineup below to make it easy for you to hop along. Today’s “flap fold” features sneak peeks of new products that will be available May 5th! The Silly Old Bear Designer Paper and Scalloped Blooms are two of my favorites.

Silly Old Bear Fun Fold
To create the card base, I cut Pecan Pie Cardstock 8″ X 4 1/4″, scored at 2 1/2″. Then, I glued two pieces of the Silly Old Bear Designer Paper to the card base: 5 1/4″ X 4″ (inside) and 2 1/4″ X 4″ (front).

Next, I used the 4th largest Scalloped Blooms Die to cut a second pattern of Silly Old Bear DSP, which I backed with Very Vanilla Cardstock. Then, I used the same Scalloped Blooms Die to cut Very Vanilla Cardstock for the inside of the card. I was careful to line up the scalloped cuts, so the inside isn’t visible when the card is closed.

The sentiment, “have a good day,” is from the Scalloped Blooms Stamp Set. I stamped it in Early Espresso Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock, used a Scalloped Blooms Die for cutting, and glued it in place. Decorating the front of the card is Winnie the Pooh, fussy cut from the Silly Old Bear Designer Paper, and attached with Dimensionals.
