Welcome to Global Design Project! This week we have a fun, color challenge: Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, and TahitianTide. A number of the products on today’s card are retiring. Please see the “Last Chance” information below.

The Sunflower Dies (on sale now) have been a favorite. This clever die enables you to make “quick & easy” cards with “wow” factor. The outline of the flower was cut from Thick Basic White Cardstock, and the paper beneath is Fancy Flora Designer Paper.

Sunflower Birthday
For the background, I used Thick Basic White for the card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, topped with Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″. Prior to gluing the layer, I used the round stamp from Watercolor Shapes with Tahitian Tide Ink to stamp across the center.
I also added Black & White Gingham Ribbon, which I cut in half, and taped to the back.

“Happy Birthday” is from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink. Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins were attached, as a final touch.

My April Host Code Gift
Place an order of $75.00 or more, before tax and shipping, and I will send you the Raindrops Embossing Folder in May.

There has been much excitement at Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators were able to view the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog, which goes “live” to customers May 2. Along with that was the Last Chance Products, which I can share with you now. The two lists include all of the retiring products from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog (click cover to view)…
and, the January to April 2023 Mini Catalog (click cover to view)

The lists are extra long, because this is a “color refresh” year, so the fifteen retiring colors, and their associated products (ink pads, re-inkers, cardstock, Stampin’ Blends, Stampin’ Write Markers, ribbons, embellishments) are listed. I’ve pictured the retiring colors below. These products are usually the first to sell out, so order asap.
The discounted prices are on the right side, effective as long as supplies last, until May 2, when the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog goes “live.”
Additionally, I want to point out that there are bundles listed, but that doesn’t indicate the stamp set and dies are retiring. It means they will no longer be in a bundle with the 10% discount. If you don’t see the stamp set listed, it is a “carry-over.”
To make viewing easier, there is a plus mark at the top to enlarge the print. Also, I recommend having the catalogs in hand, because the lists are organized by page number.
Thank you for visiting. Have a great day!

For this week’s Global Design Project, we get to CASE (copy and selectively edit) Ann Alexander’s beautiful card. See how our designers “cased” Ann, then join in the fun, and add your design to our gallery.

For this week’s project, I used the Blossoming Happiness Dies and Hues of Happiness Designer Paper. Beginning tomorrow (April 4), this die set will be discounted 60%, so only $12.80!
I began with Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, making two cuts with a Blossoming Happiness Die. Then, I glued the layer to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ folded at 4 1/4″.

Hues Of Happiness
Next, I cut the flowers and leaves from Hues Of Happiness Designer Paper, using Blossoming Happiness Dies. We love when Stampin’ Up! coordinates the dies with the paper! The Happiness Abounds stamp set, #159238, also has the flowers and leaves that can be cut with the dies.
After cutting, I attached the flowers and leaves with Dimensionals.

The sentiment, “just for you,” is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, used its Sentiment Silhouettes Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. This great set is carrying over to the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog.
The final touch was adding three Iridescent Pearls.

This week’s Global Design Project is all about Easter, a day I love to celebrate! Stampin’ Up’s stamp set, Rejoice In Him, has wonderful sentiments for the occasion.

He is Risen
I began with a background stamp, Rays Of Light, that I stamped in Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody on Basic White Cardstock. The Stamparatus enabled me to stamp the two colors, while holding the stamp and paper in place. While I was using the Stamparatus, I stamped “He is Risen” in Early Espresso Ink.
After stamping, I used the Largest Deckled Rectangles Die for cutting.

Next, I created the cross, using two Sending Dies to cut Soft Suede Cardstock. After doubling the “wood” for thickness, I gave it texture with the Timber Embossing Folder, glued the cross together, tied Linen Thread around the cross, and attached it with Mini Dimensionals.

For the base of the cross, I used a Palms Die to cut palm branches from Awash In Beauty Designer Paper, and glued them in place. The final touch was adding three Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

To complete the card, I stamped a sentiment from Rejoice In Him in Early Espresso Ink on Basic White Cardstock, used the largest Deckled Rectangles Die for cutting, and glued it in place. I also added a palm branch, and decorated the envelope flap with Awash In Beauty Designer Paper.

It’s time to make Easter cards! Be inspired by our designer’s creations; then, create your own, and hang it in our gallery.

Welcome to this week’s Global Design Project, a fun, sketch challenge!

I began by stamping the “arm holding a bouquet,” in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. This cute image, from the Warm Welcome Stamp Set, was cut with a Something Fancy Die. Then, I used Stampin’ Blends for coloring in five colors: Balmy Blue, Ivory, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, and Mint Macaron.

Warm Thank You
Next, I used the same Something Fancy Die, and one a size larger, to create a stencil. I did this by positioning the two dies on Basic White Cardstock (4″ X 5 1/4″), and rolling it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Then, I placed my stencil on Basic White Cardstock( 4″ X 5 1/4″), and colored the “cut-outs” with a Blending Brush and Balmy Blue Ink.

Next, I embossed the bottom portion with the Cane Weave Embossing Folder, and glued the layer to a Crumb Cake card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The ribbon across the middle is from the Real Red and Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack. Due to popularity, it was out of stock for a while, but I’m happy to say it’s available again! In order to raise it on Dimensionals, I attached it to Crumb Cake Cardstock (4″ X 1/2″) with Tear & Tape.

The sentiment, “thank you,” is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set. I stamped it in Crumb Cake Ink, used its Sentiment Silhouettes Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.

This week’s Global Design Project is a fun color challenge, using Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, and Coastal Cabana.
I began with a Thick Very Vanilla card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, layered with Very Vanilla Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. Before gluing the layer, I embossed it with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder.

Framed Flowers
Next, I stamped the flowers from the Fragrant Flowers Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock, and used a Fragrant Flowers Die for cutting. I cheated a bit with the leaves, because I used a Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blend for coloring, since I didn’t have Coastal Cabana.
To add interest, I used a Fabulous Frames Die to cut a frame from Crumb Cake Cardstock. After placing the flowers on top of the frame, I attached both to the card front with Dimensionals.

The sentiment, “friend,” is from the Fragrant Flowers Stamp Set. I stamped it in Mint Macaron Ink (sticking with the color), used a Fragrant Flowers Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.

See how our designers used the colors, then create a design to hang in our gallery.
Come back Wednesday, 3/15, to see how I used the colors in a completely different way.

For this week’s Global Design Project, we get to CASE (copy and selectively edit) Kim Fee’s beautiful card. See how our designers “cased” Kim, then join in the fun, and add your design to our gallery.

I began with a Thick Basic White card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″), layered with Hello Irresistible Designer Paper (4″ X 5 1/4″). Then, I used the Irresistible Blooms circle die to cut Basic White Cardstock. After snipping it free in six places, making a wreath, I glued it to the card front.
Prior to gluing the wreath, I used an Irresistible Blooms stamp and Memento Black Ink to make a spray of dots.

Hello Wreath
Next, I used Irresistible Bloom Dies to cut two flowers and three sets of leaves from Hello Irresistible Designer Paper. I love when Stampin’ Up! matches dies to the designer paper!

The sentiment is from the Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set, which I heat embossed for a dramatic effect. I stamped “hello” in VersaMark on Basic Black Cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and set it with the Heat Tool. After using a Harvest Die for cutting, I attached it with Dimensionals.
The final touch was adding several Iridescent Rhinestones.
