Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is New 2022-2024 In Colors. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
To show off the new 2022-2024 In Colors, I chose a new bundle, Bottled Happiness. This bundle is especially fun for those who like punches, because it comes with the Vintage Bottle Punch. You can see the entire bundle in my Product List below.
I began by coloring with 2022-2024 In Color Stampin’ Blends on Perfectly Penciled Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″. The leaves were colored in Parakeet Party, and the flowers were colored in Sweet Sorbet.

Vellum Bottles
Next, I used the Orchid Oasis Stampin’ Blend to color the three bottles, which I punched from Vellum Cardstock with the Vintage Bottle Punch. I used three methods for attaching the see-through, Vellum bottles. The middle bottle was attached with smeared glue, the bottle on the right has two layers which hides the Dimensionals, and the one on the left has a label with Dimensionals beneath.

“Let’s get into the spirit” is from the Bottled Happiness Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink and cut with a Sending Die. The Sending Dies are from another new bundle, Sending Smiles, which will be getting lots of use!

After attaching the sentiment to the card front, and my art piece to the Starry Sky card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″), my card was complete.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on [second Wednesday]. Our theme will be “New 2022-2024 In Colors” when our Design Team creates a project found in the new Annual Catalog and CASE it with their own creative twist.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Welcome to the Pals Fun Folds Blog Hop! We hope you enjoy the inspiration we have for you. You will find the lineup to the other great fun fold stampers at the bottom of my post.
For today’s “fun fold,” I wanted to share one of my favorites; the Double Z Fold card. I’ve decorated it with a new bundle from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog; Happiness Abounds, and Hues Of Happiness Designer Paper. This will be available May 3, 2022, and if you haven’t guessed, it’s also a favorite!

Double Z Fold
First, I cut a piece of 8 1/2″ X 11″ Gorgeous Grape Cardstock in half, 4 1/4″ X 11″, and scored it at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″. You can use the other half to make a second card.
The front panel was decorated with Highland Heather Cardstock, 2 1/4″ X 4″, cut with a unique, Blossoming Happiness Die.
The large panel was covered with a gorgeous floral from Hues Of Happiness Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 4″.

After gluing the panels, I cut a band for the bottom, 11″ X 1 1/4,” scored at 5 1/2″ and 2 3/4″. I decorated the band with three strips of Hues Of Happiness Designer paper. The long strip is 5 1/4″ X 1″, and the two shorter strips are 2 1/2″ X 1″.
The trickiest part of the Double Z-Fold is fastening the band. It seems odd, but the long section of the band is glued to the short front section. I find it easiest to apply glue to the folded band, because this exposes only the part that should have glue. Then, fold the card while adhering the band in place. I suggest having a “dry” run before applying glue.

“Happy Birthday” and “Wishing you all the happiness you can imagine,” are from the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set, stamped in Gorgeous Grape Ink on Thick Basic White Cardstock, cut with a Stylish Shapes Dies, and attached with Dimensionals. The Stylish Shapes Die Set is also in the new catalog, and will be available May 3, 2022.
For some added detail, I cut three flowers and a few leaves from the Hues Of Happiness Designer Paper, and attached them with glue or Dimensionals.
Incidentally, the Double Z-Fold card will fit right inside our Medium Envelopes. YAY!

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Fabulous Flowers. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The Flowing Flowers Stamp Set is a favorite from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. Today’s “clean & simple” card was easy to create with Sponge Daubers and a Stamparatus. If you aren’t familiar with the Stamparatus, click on its picture in my Product List below.

Flowing Flowers
First, I placed Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, on the platform of the Stamparatus. Second, I attached the Flowing Flowers stamp on the lid and colored with Sponge Daubers and five colors of Ink. I started with the leaves and dots in Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive, then the flower in Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Polished Pink, in that order.
Third, I lowered the lid, pressing it to the paper, with each color, and repeated the process for the second flower. The Sponge Daubers can be rinsed clean with water, ready for new colors on your next project.

Next, I stamped “Just A Note,” from the Flowing Flowers Stamp Set, in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used an Ornate Layers Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. This fabulous die set is retiring soon, so order now, at a reduced price ($29.60), while it’s still available.
To make the flowers pop, I glued my art piece to a Basic Black card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, and my “clean & simple” card was complete.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on [second Wednesday]. Our theme will be New 2022-2024 In Colors, with the Pals showcasing the brand new In Colors in the new Annual Catalog.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Welcome to the Pals Fun Folds Blog Hop! We hope you enjoy the inspiration we have for you. You will find the lineup to the other great fun fold stampers at the bottom of my post.
For today’s “fun fold,” I wanted to share my favorite gift card holder for springtime gifts. It’s good to have gift card holders on hand, no matter what time of year. Right?

Springtime Gift Card Holder
First, I chose Soft Succulent Cardstock for the card base, and cut a piece that is 7 3/4″ X 5″. Then, I scored it at 6″ and 2 1/2″.
Second, I cut the band 7 3/4″ X 1″, and scored it at 6 1/8″ and 2 1/2″. You want that extra 1/8 inch on the scoring, so the band will slide off and on easily.

To decorate the gift card holder, I cut two pieces of Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper: The bottom front is 4 3/4″ X 2 1/4″. The top front is 4 3/4″ X 1 1/2″.
I used the smallest Layering Circles Die to make a finger slot in the middle of the bottom front, then glued the right and left, inside edges, sealing the pocket.
Next, I cut one piece of Basic White Cardstock for the sentiment on the inside, 4 3/4″ X 1 1/2″.

The band is decorated with gingham from Pansy Petals Designer Paper, and a cute chick from the Easter Friends Stamp Set.
The chick was stamped in Mango Melody Ink on Basic White Cardstock, colored with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend, and cut with scissors.
I glued the band with the raw edge in front, and covered with the chick, which I attached with Dimensionals.

My March Host Code Gift
Just type the current host code (found beneath my profile picture) in the box provided, on your order of $75.00 or more, before tax and shipping, and I will send you the Checks & Dots Embossing Folders in April. They are perfectly sized to fit the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine that is 20% off the month of March.

I’m vacationing in the desert in March and April, but I have my Stampin’ Up! supplies, and I’ll continue working (playing).

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Cute Critters. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The Easter Friends Stamp Set has such cute critters! This is Hop Hop the bunny, with a surprise “pop-up” on the inside.

Easter Friends Pop-Up Card
Here’s the pop-up surprise, starring Peep, the chick.

To make the pop-up, begin with Highland Heather Cardstock, 4 1/4″ X 11″. Next, cut Flowering Fields Designer Paper, 3 3/4″ X 10 3/4″, scored at 4 1/4″, 5 1/4″, and 6 1/4″. When you fold on the score lines, it will look like a mountain in the middle. Next, glue the bottom half of the DSP to the bottom of the card base. Then, fold flat, and glue the top half of the DSP to the top half of the card base. It works if your borders are even, and you can test before gluing to make sure it forms a right angle.
The sentiment is from the Easter Friends Stamp Set, stamped in Gorgeous Grape Ink, cut with a Scalloped Contours Die, and glued to the fold along the bottom.
Peep was stamped in Memento Black Ink, colored with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends, fussy cut, and glued in place.

Now, back to the front, which Hop Hop says is the most important. (We’ll let him think that). He is from the Easter Friends Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After coloring him with Crumb Cake and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends, I used Paper Snips to set him free.
Easter Blessings is from the Daffodil Daydream Stamp Set, stamped in Gorgeous Grape, and cut with the smallest Scalloped Contours Die. After gluing Hop Hop’s feet to the top of the sentiment label, I attached him with Dimensionals.
The background is Subtles 6″ X 6″ Designer Paper in plaid Highland Heather, cut with the second largest Scalloped Contours Die. It is layered on Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Scalloped Contours Die.
To add some color, I used a Horizon Die to cut some grass from Beauty of the Earth Designer Paper. I thought I was finished, but Hop Hop said he wanted to hold a tulip, so I gave him one, cut from the Flowering Fields Designer Paper. Now, he is happy, and excited for Easter!

Thanks for hopping by.

Besides being 2-22-22 Tuesday, it’s the Pals Fun Folds February Blog Hop! You’ll find a pictured list at the bottom, so you can to see all of our fun folds designs. I chose to show you a simple, gate fold design, which was the first I learned, and remains a favorite. Since I have the perfect Horizon Dies, why not create an actual gate on my gate fold card?
The supplies I used for today’s card are in my Product List below.

Gate Fold with a gate
To make the card base, you cut 8 1/2″ X 11″ cardstock (I used Evening Evergreen) in half at 4 1/4″. Then, score each end at 2 3/4″, and fold to the middle. That’s it!

Now, all you need to do is decorate. I used the gorgeous, New Horizons Designer Paper, cutting two front pieces at 2 1/2″ X 4″, and the inside at 5 1/4″ X 4″, from two pieces of 6″ X 6″ DSP in the same pattern. With the leftovers, I cut the labels for the sentiments, the clouds, and the grass.

The sentiments are from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set, stamped in Gorgeous Grape Ink. While I was using the ink, I stamped the birds from the On The Horizon Stamp Set. Do you see them on the inside?
“Always Remember” was cut with a Floral Gallery Die, and “Life is better with a friend like you” was cut with an Ornate Layers Die.

The highlight of this card, the fence, was cut from In Good Taste Designer Paper, making it look like wood. After layering the fence for thickness, I glued the grass along the bottom, and tucked the fence behind the top of the blades. Then, I attached the clouds and sentiment with Dimensionals, and my gate fold card, with a gate, was complete.

Just type the current host code (found beneath my profile picture) in the box provided, on your order of $75.00 or more, and I will send you the Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks in March.
Create textured and colored backgrounds with Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks. These stencils are an easy way to blend colors on your cards and other paper crafting projects. You can use the background masks on their own. But your images will really pop when you layer the detailed masks over the backgrounds to get even more depth and dimension. Use with Classic Stampin’ Ink and coloring tools such as Blending Brushes and Sponge Daubers for beautiful color. You can also use them with Embossing Paste and Palette Knives for textured designs.

Have you gotten your FREE Sale-a-bration products? Better hurry, because the special deal ends February 28th. There are 9 products from which to choose, for every $50 or $100 order. You can click on the pictures to see the details on each one.
