I fell in love with the Regal Reindeer Stamp Set the first time I saw it in the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog. What I didn’t see was all of the additional Reindeer Dies to accompany it. Today’s card features three of those die-cuts; the reindeer, the fox, and the scarf. You can see all of the Reindeer Dies in my Product List below.

Reindeer and Fox
I cut the reindeer and the fox from Early Espresso Cardstock, and the scarf from Real Red. The scarf can be worn by the fox or the reindeer, but the reindeer grabbed it first. I think the fox has his eye on it, don’t you?

After cutting the animals, I used Stylish Shapes Dies to cut circles from Sahara Sand Cardstock, and attached the animals to the circles with Dimensionals.

For the background, I cut a 5 3/4″ X 1 3/4″ strip of Painted Christmas Designer Paper, and glued it to Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″. Prior to gluing, I embossed the white cardstock with a Wintry Embossing Folder. The card base is Garden Green, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Merry Christmas is from the Regal Reindeer Stamp Set, stamped in Real Red Ink, and cut with the Double Oval Punch. It’s attached by Dimensionals to Sahara Sand Cardstock, cut with the Double Oval Punch.

I was inspired by TGIF.

I love the combination of pink and green, and today’s design adds a touch of gold. I began by stamping two of the plants from the Splendid Thoughts Stamp Set in Soft Sea Foam and Flirty Flamingo; then using their Splendid Stems Dies for cutting. After cutting, I used their coordinating, “two-step” stamps for coloring, and placed them on Dimensionals. Don’t be surprised that the coloring stamps don’t align, because they aren’t supposed to match.

Pink, green & gold
Next, I used two more Splendid stems Dies to cut “open” plants from Basic White Cardstock and Blushing Bride Cardstock, which were glued flat.
The cute, gold, bee was stamped in VersaMark on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder, set it with the Heat Tool, used a Splendid Stems Die for cutting, and placed it on a Dimensional. I made several bees while I was at it.

For more gold, the pot was created with Splendid Day Designer Paper and another Splendid Stems Die. I gave it texture with the Hive Embossing Folder, which I layered on cardstock for thickness (using the debossed side) and placed it on Dimensionals.
The background is a gorgeous piece of Splendid Day Designer Paper, cut with the largest Deckled Rectangles Die. Prior to gluing this to a Soft Sea Foam card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I stamped “sending hugs” in Soft Sea Foam Ink. This is one of the sentiments in the Splendid Thoughts Stamp Set.

I was inspired by TGIF.

Sale-a-bration is coming July 1st, and Rings of Love Designer Paper is one of the FREE items you can choose with a qualifying order. This sweet home is one of the patterns in pack, which I cut with a Stylish Shapes Die. Then, I backed it with Soft Succulent Cardstock, cut with a Stylish Shapes Die that was one size larger, and placed it on Dimensionals.
Doesn’t it make a nice “new home” card?

New Home Card
For the background, I began with a Soft Succulent card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. This was layered with a new designer paper from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog, Gingham Cottage, trimmed to fit the size of the trellis. It’s a huge pack of paper, 48 sheets, in a variety of colors. The trellis was cut from Mint Macaron Cardstock with an Organic Beauty Die, which is available now.
While I was gluing things together, I added a bow of Soft Sea Foam Ribbon, also in the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog.

“Wishing you everything wonderful” is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set. I stamped it in Soft Succulent Ink on Thick Basic White Cardstock, and used its Sentiment Silhouettes Die for cutting. I chose this as something nice to say to someone moving to a new home.

I was inspired by TGIF.

I have to say, this is the first time I’ve used paper clips on a card. But TGIF’s challenge this week was to use paper clips, so I was game. It turns out, my husband really likes this card, so this is his Father’s Day card. The sentiment is perfect, don’t you think?

Paper Clipped Flowers

I happened to find some large, colored, paper clips that I would be able to clip onto the Hues Of Happiness Flowers. After using the Blossoming Happiness Die to cut three flowers, I clipped the flowers to a coordinating piece of Hues Of Happiness Designer Paper, 4″ X 51/4″.
Before attaching the designer paper to my card base, I cut 1″ from the bottom, and set aside for the sentiment. Next, I used Dimensionals to attach the clipped flowers portion, and glued the remaining DSP to the card base. The card base is Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Because the card was making me laugh, I searched for a sentiment that would fit the occasion, and found it in the Forever Fern Stamp Set. I stamped “love & laughter forever after,” in Memento Black Ink on the designer paper, and attached it with strips of Dimensionals (the left-over border).
To add a bit more color, I used two Blossoming Happiness Dies to cut green leaves from the designer paper, and glued them in place.

Are you ready for another sneak peek? The Wonderful World Stamp Set has the coolest flowers, and guess what……it’s FREE! That’s right; it’s one of the Sale-a-bration products that you can choose for FREE with a $100 order during July and August. And, it comes with gorgeous designer paper that everyone is sure to want.

For today’s card, I simply stamped the flowers in Shaded Spruce Ink on Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″.
Prior to stamping the flowers, I created the background with a Watercolor Shapes Stamp, and two colors of Ink. The top rectangle is Pool Party, and the bottom rectangle is Soft Sea Foam.

#simplestamping Wonderful World
“Hello there” is from the Nature’s Prints Stamp Set, also stamped in Shaded Spruce Ink. After stamping, I glued the layer to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, and my #simplestamping card was complete.
The Stamparatus was used for stamping, and I believe it is one of the most helpful tools. Not only does it give you the capability of stamping multiple times in the same spot, it enables you to position things before stamping. Click on its picture in my Product List for more details.

“Paper piecing” is a fun technique I used to create today’s sunflower card. First, I’ll explain the background; a card base of Crumb Cake, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. To give it texture, I layered it with lattice, cut with an Organic Beauty Die from Crumb Cake Cardstock.

“Paper Pieced” Sunflower
The sky was made with a Blending Brush and Pacific Point Ink on Basic White Cardstock, 3″ X 4 1/2″.
Now for the “paper piecing” process: 1) Cut half of a sunflower from Thick Basic White Cardstock, using the Sunflowers Die, and glue it close to the edge of the sky. 2) Create the yellow with a Blending Brush and Crushed Curry Ink on Basic White Cardstock. 3) Cut half of a sunflower, using the same half as the white cut. When removing it from the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, keep it intact. This will keep the petals in order. 4) Using your Take Your Pick Tool, match the yellow petals to the white frame, and glue in place. 5) Cut the center of the flower from Crumb Cake Cardstock.
To give the sunflower a perfectly straight edge, I used a Stitched Rectangles Die (2 1/2″ X 4″), cutting it to size.

“I’m thinking of you” is from the Art Gallery Stamp Set, heat embossed with White Powder on a piece of the “sky” paper, cut with the smallest Stitched Rectangles Die.
The sprig, also a Sunflowers Die, was cut from Basic White Cardstock, and glued in placed prior to attaching the sentiment with Dimensionals.
If you like doing jig saw puzzles, this technique is one you could grow to love. I’ve already made another, I’ll show you later this week.

I was inspired by TGIF.
