I’m so excited to share that I’ve been asked to join the TGIF Challenge Design Team! I love designing cards that inspire you to get your products out, and start crafting. It’s fun having the challenge as a parameter for a starting point. This week’s theme challenge is “for a special guy.” Are you thinking Father’s Day? I am! Plus, my husband’s birthday is in June. Clicking on this picture will take you to the TGIFC site where you can enter your project.

The new, Waterside Retreat Suite is perfect for the men in our lives; the subject, the sentiments, and the colors! I began my design by cutting a cabin scene from Waterside Retreat Designer Paper with a Spotlight on Nature Die, and backed it with Cardstock for thickness.

Father’s Day Retreat
Next, I cut a background of horizontal striped, Waterside Retreat Designer Paper, 3 5/8″ X 4 7/8″, and layered it on Old Olive Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5″. Then, I used a Spotlight On Nature Die to cut a circle in the striped paper. After gluing the striped background to a Peaceful Pine card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I glued the cabin scene in the hole, making it “inlaid.”

“Happy Father’s Day” is from the Relaxing Waterside Stamp Set. I stamped it in Pecan Pie Ink on Waterside Retreat Designer Paper, used a Words & Wishes Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. The oar and fish were fussy cut from the Waterside Retreat DSP, and the reeds were cut with a Relaxing Waterside Die from three colors of cardstock: Peaceful Pine, Old Olive, and Pecan Pie.

The Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing Folder is so much fun to use! It’s a “hybrid,” because it does the embossing and cutting at the same time. First, I matched the die to the embossing folder; you can feel when it clicks into place. Then, I added green, Valley In Bloom Designer Paper, 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″, to the folder, and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. After lifting the cut leaves, I glued this to a Garden Green card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing
Next, I stamped seven flowers from the Paradise Garden Stamp Set in three colors on Basic White Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo, and Strawberry Slush. Then, I glued two flowers, and attached five flowers with Dimensionals.

“Thank You” is from the Paradise Garden Stamp Set. I stamped it in VersaMark on Valley In Bloom DSP, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, set it with the Heat Too, and used a Paradise Garden Die for cutting. It was placed across the center of the card with Dimensionals. As a final detail, I added five Iridescent Pearls.

I’m sharing with this week’s TGIF challenge.

Color challenges are great for inspiration! This week’s TGIF challenge uses three colors: Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake, and Melon Mambo.

I was excited to use the new bundle, Lily Of The Valley, and began by stamping lilies from the stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used a Blender Pen with Coastal Cabana Ink to color the flowers. After coloring, I used a Lily Of The Valley Die for cutting.

Lily Of The Valley color challenge
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 3 1/2″ X 4 3/4″, embossed with the Floral Spray Embossing Folder. I layered it on Valley In Bloom Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, layered on a Melon Mambo card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment, “to a forever kind of friend,” is from the Lily Of The Valley Stamp Set. I stamped it in Crumb Cake Ink, used a Stylish Shapes Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. After gluing the lilies, and embellishing with gems, my card was complete.

The Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape is so pretty, I wanted to use it on a card front just the way it is. But, rather than leave it flat, I thought it would be fun to “pop it up.”

“Popped Up” Washi Tape
I began by rolling, and ahereing, the washi tape to Basic White Cardstock, 3 14″ X 5 1/4″. Then, I ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with its Extraordinary Flora Die. After cutting, I carefully turned it upside down, leaving the cut pieces attached to the die. A few came loose, but they were easily replaced.

Next, I attached Mini Dimensionals to the cut pieces; yes, quite a few. After removing the dimensional’s backing, I placed another piece of Basic White Cardstock, 3 1/4″ X 5 1/4″, on top, turned it over, and voila! Before gluing it to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I backed it with Fresh Freesia Cardstock, 1/8″ larger.

“Happy Birthday” is from the Lovely Arrangements Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, used a Lovely Arrangements Die for cutting, and glued it in place.

I was inspired by TGIF.

The Paradise Garden Bundle is a favorite, so I’m excited to share today’s sneak peek. I began with a Basic Beige card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I used the Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing Folder to give texture to Basic Beige Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/2″, and glued it to the card base.

Paradise Garden
Next, I cut Wood Grain Wonders Designer Paper, 4″ X 2 3/4″, and glued it on top of the embossed layer. It was topped with Garden Poetry Designer Paper, 3 3/4″ X 2 1/2″. The trim along the bottom was cut with a Cutest Crew Die from Wood Grain Wonders Designer Paper. Such a fun die!

The sentiment, “you are appreciated,” is from the Paradise Garden Stamp Set. I stamped it in Pecan Pie Ink On Basic Beige Cardstock, used a Paradise Garden Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. To complete the card, I embellished it with Pearls Of Beauty, and Antique Pearls.

I was inspired by TGIF.

Today’s card was created with the Fragrant Layers Bundle, a favorite from the new, January 2026 Online Exclusives. I began by using one of the dies to cut two, trios of flowers from Basic White Cardstock. I also cut leaves from Soft Sea Foam Cardstock with three additional Fragrant Layers Dies. Then, I used a Small Blending Brush and Pretty In Pink Ink to add color to the flowers.

Fragrant Layers Hello
Next, I used a fifth, Fragrant Layers Die to cut small flowers from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock, and glued these to the backside of the flowers. I don’t think this was the intended purpose for this die, but the cut-outs fit the flower centers perfectly.

The background was created with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder and Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. This layer was glued to a Soft Sea Foam card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. After attaching the flowers with Dimensionals, I glued the leaves flat. The sentiment, “hello,” is from the Fragrant Leaves Stamp Set. I stamped it in VersaMark on Soft Sea Foam Cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and set it with the Heat Tool. Then, I used a sixth, Fragrant Layers Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. As a final touch, I added three Iridescent Pearls
