Timeless Tulips On Sale Now!

Tulips are perfect for spring time cards, and the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set is a retiring favorite, which is on sale for $14.40. It’s one of the four, “Last Chance” items I used on today’s card, and clicking on their pictures in my Product List below will show you the sale prices.

By Su Mohr for TGIF; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Timeless Tulips Stamp Set, Ornate Layers Dies, Basic Pattern Decorative Masks, Ombre Gift Bags; #timelesstulips #tulips #tulipsoncards #flowersoncards #ornatelayers #masks #cardtechniques #ombregiftbags #handcrafted #handmadecards #stenciling #cardmaking #papercrafting #sumohr #aromasandart.com #stamping #stampinup #lastchance

Timeless Tulips with stenciling

To begin, I experimented by stamping the tulips on Ombre Gift Bags. First, I stamped the flowers in Gorgeous Grape Ink on the purple bag, and the leaves and stems in Granny Apple Green on the green bag. Then, I used Paper Snips for cutting. The Ombre Bags are reduced to $4.80, and I like how the flowers turned out, don’t you?

Prior to gluing the flowers, I created the background with Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Ornate Layers Die. Then, I used a Basic Pattern Decorative Mask with Coastal Cabana Ink and a Blending Brush to make the dots. The Ornate Layers Dies are $29.60, and the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks are $4.80.

The sentiment, “happy birthday,” is from the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink, cut with the smallest Stitched Rectangles Die, and attached with Mini Dimensionals.

I was inspired by TGIF.

Sea Life Rainbow Glimmer Seahorse

Today’s seahorse card was created with a few of my favorite products, and if you click on the pictures in my Product List below, you will see the reduced prices of retiring items in our “Last Chance” sale. The Rainbow Glimmer Paper has been a favorite, and is reduced to $4.80, as long as it’s available.

I began by using the largest Diorama Die to cut a portion of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper, from green to red. The Diorama Dies are currently unavailable, but the good news is, they are carrying over to the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.

By Su Mohr for TGIF; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Sea Life Dies, Rainbow Glimmer Paper, Welcoming Window, Layering Diorama Dies, Messages Die; #sealife #seahorse #welcomingwindow #rainbowglimmerpaper #layeringdioramadies #messagesdie #handmadecards #handcrafted #diy #cardmaking #papercrafting #sumohr #aromasandart.com #stamping #stampinup #colorpop #cardthemes #cardchallenges

Rainbow Glimmer Seahorse

Next, using a Sea Life Die, I cut a seahorse from the middle of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper. The seahorse stays attached in a few small places, unless you snip it free. Then, I used a die from the same set to cut the yellow fish, and placed them on Dimensionals.

After gluing the seahorse to the Night of Navy card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″) I used a third Sea Life Die to cut the coral from Night of Navy cardstock, and glued it in place.

I have really enjoyed the Sea Life Dies, another “Last Chance” product, available now for the reduced price of $23.20. If you want to include the stamp set, the Seascape Bundle is on sale for $41.50.

Now, all I needed was a sentiment. “My sweet friend” is from the Welcoming Window Stamp Set, part of the bundle, retiring, and on sale in March for $44.75. I’ve had so much fun using this Welcoming Window Bundle, but we have to make room for new products.

I stamped the sentiment in Night Of Navy Ink on Coastal Cabana Cardstock, and used the Messages Die for cutting. The Messages Die is a newer product, but is also retiring, and on sale for $27.20.

I was inspired by TGIF.

#simplestamping Seascape and Watercolor Shapes

News, just released! the Last Chance Products Sale begins today, March 23! More details tomorrow, but the sale items go quickly. Click here to shop now!

Today’s card is #simplestamping, which is great for newcomers to stamping, because it requires few supplies; just stamps, ink, and paper. The stamp set I chose is from the Seascape Bundle that is on sale in March. I also used a great stamp set for backgrounds, Watercolor Shapes.

By Su Mohr for TGIF; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Seascape Stamp Set, Watercolor Shapes Stamp Set, Sweet As A Peach Stamp Set; #seascape #fish #fishoncards #watercolorshapes #simplestamping #handmadecards #handcrafted #diy #cardmaking #papercrafting #sumohr #aromasandart.com #stamping #stampinup

Seascape #simplestamping

I began by stamping the circles from Watercolor Shapes in three colors of ink, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, and Garden Green, on Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″.

Next, I stamped the fish, bubbles, and underwater foliage from the Seascape Stamp Set.

I found the perfect, little “hello” in the Sweet As A Peach Stamp Set. This set is also part of a “bundle” that is on sale in March, and you can see the complete, pictured, list below.

After stamping, the underwater scene was glued to a Bermuda Bay card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, and my #simplestamping card was complete.

Amazing Silhouettes Thank You Card

I love silhouettes and paper words, and the Amazing Silhouettes Bundle has both!

By Su Mohr for TGIF; Click aromasandart.com to go to my blog for details! Amazing Thanks

I began today’s thank you card by stamping the tree in Evening Evergreen Ink on Waves Of The Ocean Designer Paper, 2 1/2″ X 5 1/4″. Then, I cut In Color 6″ X 6″ Designer Paper in plaid, Evening Evergreen, 1″ X 5 1/4″, and glued it along the side of the tree. This was glued to a Coastal Cabana card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Next, I used Amazing Thanks Dies to cut the word “thanks.” The “bubble” was cut from Evening Evergreen Cardstock, and the thin word was cut from Brights 6″ X 6″ Designer Paper in plaid, Coastal Cabana.

After cutting “thanks,” I attached it with Mini Dimensionals.

I can’t stop using the beautiful, Waves Rhinestones, so it’s a good thing each pack has 168 rhinestones.

I was inspired by TGIF.

For today’s card, I used Blending Brushes to color the red rubber stamp from the Calming Camellia Stamp Set.

First, I attached the “Distinktive” stamp to the lid of the Stamparatus. Second, I rubbed the brush on the ink pad, and applied it to the stamp. Third, I lowered the lid onto Basic White Cardstock (3 3/4″ X 5″), held in place by a magnet. This was repeated until I was happy with the saturation of color for all three colors: Polished Pink, Crushed Curry, and Pumpkin Pie. Before cleaning the brushes between colors, and moving the stamp to a new position on the lid, I brushed a touch of color around the stamped image.

Blending Brush Technique

To make the colors pop, I framed my leaves with Basic Black Cardstock, cut 1/8″ larger for a 1/16″ border. This was attached with Dimensionals to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

I also stamped the fantastic, curlicue from the Calming Camellia Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink.

To add even more black, I used heat embossing for the sentiment. I stamped, “you made my day,” from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set in VersaMark on Basic Black Cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and set it with the Heat Tool. Next, I used the Messages Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.

For a bit of Sparkle I added three, Artistry Blooms Sequins. I love these self-sticking sequins!

I was inspired by TGIF.

Daffodil Afternoon and Special Moments

Have you gotten your FREE Sale-a-bration products? Better hurry, because the special deal ends February 28th. There are 9 products from which to choose, for every $50 or $100 order. You can click on the pictures, in my Product List below, to see the details on each one. You’ll recognize them, because the price is $0.00.

Today’s card features two of the Sale-a-bration products: Special Moments and Daffodil Afternoon.

I began with a Very Vanilla card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, topped with Polished Pink Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5″. This was layered with a beautiful pattern of Daffodil Afternoon Designer Paper, 1/8″ smaller, giving the pattern a 1/16″ pink border.

Next, I used my Paper Snips, and cut three daffodils from the Daffodil Afternoon DSP that matched three of the flowers on my card front. Before gluing the layers together, I attached the daffodils with Dimensionals, and trimmed the edges. They are visible in my last photo.

By Su Mohr for TGIF; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Daffodil Afternoon DSP, Special Moments Stamp Set, Ornate Frames Dies; #daffodilafternoon #specialmoments #ornateframes #sale-a-bration #sab #sab2022 #handmadecards #handcrafted #diy #cardmaking #papercrafting #cardtechniques #sumohr #aromasandart.com #stamping #stampinup #crafts #daffodils #flowersoncards

Daffodil Afternoon

For the sentiment, I stamped, “for someone who is wonderful in each and every way,” in Memento Black Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock, and used an Ornate Frames Die for cutting. The frame was cut with an Ornate Frames Die from Polished Pink Cardstock. They were glued together, and attached to the card front with Dimensionals.

Now, you can see the dimension of the three daffodils I fussy cut; two on the lower right, and one at the top. They are much easier to see in person.

I was inspired by TGIF.
