2025 Sale-a-bration Favorites

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

My two favorite 2025 Sale-a-bration items are the Heart Shaped Bundle and Bloom Impressions Designer Paper. They go beautifully together, which you can see on today’s card. And, if you aren’t familiar with Stampin’ Up!’s, once a year, Sale-a-bration, these items are FREE with a qualifying order. Send me an email (suheilmohr@gmail.com) for more information.

I began by using a Heart Shaped Die to cut two hearts from Bloom Impressions Designer Paper. This same die was used to cut two hearts from Basic White Cardstock, for framing the floral hearts.

Sale-a-bration 2025

Next, I used a Heart Shaped stamp to stamp two hearts in Melon Mambo Ink on Basic White Cardstock, 3 1/2″ X 4 3/4″. This was glued to Bloom Impressions Designer Paper 1/8″ larger, giving the top layer a 1/16″ border. Both layers were glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment is from the Heart Shaped Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After stamping “hello,” I used a Heart Shaped die for cutting, snipped it to size, and glued it in place.

The final step was using a Heart Shaped die to cut  three flowers from Basic White Cardstock. After attaching the flowers with Mini Dimensionals, I added Shimmer Gems to their centers, for some sparkle.

I’m sharing my Sale-a-bration design with this week’s TGIF challenge.

Delightful Wishes in Beautiful Bokeh

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

Ahhhh, the beauty of Beautiful Bokeh! For my first card with the Delightful Wishes Bundle, I wanted to combine it with the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper. Using five of the Delightful Wishes Dies, I created the three flowers. I studied page 33 in the 2025 January-April Mini Catalog to see how to place the detailed portion of the flowers; matching is a little tricky.

Delightful Bokeh

The center of the flowers, and this fabulous branch, were cut from Floral Delight Designer Paper. I backed the branch with cardstock for thickness, before gluing it in place. Don’t you love it? The background is Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 4″, glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“Wishing” was cut from Thick Basic White Cardstock with a Delightful Wishes Die. Caution: If you want to dot the “i”, they are tiny. To complete the sentiment, I used “you a happy birthday,” from the Delightful Wishes Stamp Set. I stamped it in Crumb Cake Ink on Beautiful Bokeh DSP, and used its Delightful Wishes Die for cutting. After adding a layer of cardstock for thickness, I glued it in place, and attached the flowers with Dimensionals.

Sneak Peek Storybook Friends Cottage

Yes! Another card created with the Storybook Friends Bundle and Storybook Moments Designer Paper. For today’s design, I fussy cut a cottage from the Storybook Moments Designer Paper.

By Su Mohr; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Storybook Friends Bundle, Storybook Moments Designer paper, Wonderful Thoughts Bundle; #storybookfriends #storybookmoments #wonderfulthoughts #thanks #sneakpeek #cottage #stonewall #frames #handmadecards #cardmaking #stampinup

Cottage and Stone Wall

Next, I cut a frame from Basic White Cardstock, using a Storybook Friends Die. After gluing the two together, I placed them on Dimensionals, and attached them to Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″.

Prior to attaching the cottage, and gluing the white layer to a Thick Basic White card base, I created the stone wall along the bottom. I stamped the wall, from the Storybook Friends Stamp Set, in Versamark, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and set it with a Heat Tool. Then, I used Stampin’ Blends for coloring in three colors: Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake and Old Olive.

“Thanks” is from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set, stamped in Pecan Pie Ink, cut with its Wonderful Thoughts Die, and glued in place.

Christmas Bird Greetings of the Season

Today’s card has elements from several of my favorite, holiday, card making supplies. I began with a bird, cut from Nests Of Winter Designer Paper with a Winterly Tree Tops Die. We love it when Stampin’ Up! has dies that cut images from the paper, right?

By Su Mohr; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Nests Of Winter DSP, Country Woods DSP, Greetings Of The Season Stamp Set, Citrus Bloom Dies, Winterly Tree Tops Dies, Golden Greenery Dies, Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder; #goldengreenery #winterlytreetops #citrusbloom #greetingsoftheseason #nestsofwinter #countrywoods #christmascards #handmadecards #cardmaking #birds #birdsoncards #stampinup

Nests Of Winter

The background is Basic White Cardstock, cut with a Citrus Blooms Die. Isn’t the shape nice? After cutting, I stamped “Merry Christmas,” from the Greetings Of The Season Stamp Set, in Early Espresso Ink. Then, I gave it texture with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder, and glued it to a Real Red card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Next, I used a Golden Greenery Die to cut a branch (LOVE!) from Country Woods Designer Paper. Then, I glued the branch to the embossed card front, and attached the bird with Dimensionals. To complete the card, I used the Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush to make the branch glisten, although you can’t see it in the photo.

Hearts Of Elegance with “Tear it up” Technique

I love hearts, and no matter what paper you use, they look beautiful. For today’s heart I used one of the Hearts Of Elegance Dies with Flowering Zinnias Designer Paper. You can see the entire, Online Exclusive, bundle in my Product List below. The detailed edge of this heart is wonderful!

By Su Mohr for TGIF; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Hearts Of Elegance, Flowering Zinnias, So Swirly Embossing Folder, Stylish Shapes Dies; #heartsofelegance #hearts #valentines #floweringzinnias #handmadecards #handcrafted #diy #cardmaking #papercrafting #tgif #tornpaper #cardtechniques #sumohr #stampinup #cardchallenge

Torn Paper Heart

Have you tried “paper tearing” for a different look?  The heart began with four torn pieces of designer paper glued to Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″. Then, I used the Hearts Of Elegance Die for cutting.

For the background, I used the So Swirly Embossing Folder on Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″, which I glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment is from the Hearts Of Elegance Stamp Set. For contrast, I stamped “xoxo” in VersaMark on Basic Black Cardstock, and sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder. After setting it with the Heat Tool, I used a Stylish Shapes Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. Three Shiny Sequins were added as a finishing touch.

It was so much fun tearing the paper, this could become a favorite technique!

TGIF was my inspiration.  Click here to see many clever ways to use the “torn paper” technique.

Snowman in Winter Meadow

While punching out Tags for the Season and Joyful Images Ephemera Packs, I created two, simple, snowman cards. I can’t resist a cute snowman! You can click on the pictures in my Product List below to see all of the tags and images.

By Su Mohr; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Merry Snowman

For the first card, I used two, long blue tags, covering the holes with the sentiment. I stamped “Merry” in Misty Moonlight Ink on Basic White cardstock, and used a Delicate Forest Die for cutting. “Christmas” is from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set. The other tag was given “Merry,” cut from Gold Foil, with a Paper Pumpkin, Merry Tags & More Die. These were  attached to a background of Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″, embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder. This was glued to a Misty Moonlight card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. After attaching the tags with Dimensionals, and gluing the snowman in place, I added three, gold, snowflakes.

For the second card, I used two long, white, tags, stamping one with “Christmas,” from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set, in Misty Moonlight Ink. This time I cut “merry” from Misty Moonlight Cardstock, and layered it for thickness. The background is Winter Meadow Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 4″, glued to a Misty Moonlight card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. I attached the tags with Dimensionals, and tied a bow of Natural Tones Linen Thread through the holes. To complete the card, I added three, white, snowflakes.

I was inspired by TGIF.
