Meet Cupcake, from the Fluffiest Friends Stamp Set, an online exclusive. She was so happy to finally be featured on a card, and very helpful with her suggestions. She thought Crumb Cake fur would be the most flattering, and her cupcake should have Bubble Bath frosting, with a Real Red cherry on top. Plus, she wanted the paper wrapping the cupcake to sparkle, and said I should use Wink Of Stella. Wasn’t that a good idea?
Cupcake the Bunny
Next, Cupcake wanted to sit in a circle, which I cut from Basic White Cardstock with the 5th smallest Deckled Circles Die. We found the perfect sentiment in the Beautiful Balloons Stamp Set, “Let’s get our celebration on.” The circle behind the white circle was cut from Most Adored Designer Paper with the 8th smallest Deckled Circles Die. And, this was layered on Crumb Cake Cardstock, cut with the 9th smallest deckled Circles Die. I think she got her wish to sit in a circle!
Once the circles were attached together, I glued them to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Prior to gluing, I embossed the card base with the Stripes Embossing Folder.
To complete Cupcake’s card, she said I needed to add three flowers from Adhesive Backed Hearts & Flowers. This really made her smile!

Today’s card developed from a fun sketch, you’ll see below. My first decision for the design was to use a FREE Sale-a-bration designer paper, Most Adored. I cut two heart patterns, 3 1/2″ X 2 1/4″ and 1 7/8″ X 1 7/8″, and layered them on Real Red Cardstock, 3 5/8″ X 2 3/8″ and 2″ X 2″.
To complete the sketch, I cut Gold Foil 4 3/4″ X 3/4″, placed Tear & Tape down the middle, and adhered Burlap Ribbon to the tape. After trimming the ends, it was glued to the background.
Adoring Hearts
The background is another selection of Most Adored Designer Paper with tiny, gold hearts. Isn’t it pretty? I glued this to a Crumb Cake card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
After the pink, heart layers were attached with Dimensionals, I used Love For You Dies to cut “love you” from Gold Foil, and glued the words in place.
The final touch was adding a pink heart on top of the square. I used an Adoring Hearts Die to cut a heart from the matching Most Adored DSP, and attached it with Dimensionals.

When Bubbles the bear, from the Fluffiest Friends Stamp Set, heard that Hattie the hamster made a “Happy New Year” card, she said it wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t let her make one. She justified this, by adding, she had a better idea. We’ll let you be the judge.
First, Bubbles instructed me how to stamp her in Memento Black Ink, and use her Fluffiest Friends Die for cutting. Then, she chose the same color for her fur as Hattie, saying Crumb Cake was hard to beat. She wanted her honey pot to be colored with Parakeet Party, her honey to be Wild Wheat, and her grass to be cut from Parakeet Party Cardstock. She didn’t care about the bees, but I thought they should be Wild Wheat.
Bubbles the Bear
Next, Bubbles wanted to sit on Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″, cut across the top with one of the Elegant Borders Dies. She said the curve was important for holding her surprise.
Bubble’s surprise was writing “Happy New Year” in beautiful, Gold Foil letters. She said the Mini Alphabet Dies, from the January-April Mini Catalog, had the perfect size.
Bubbles was excited to share her “Happy New Year” card, and said the Mini Alphabet Dies will be available January 4th.

Today’s card is another sneak peek of Adoring Hearts in “white on white,” available in the new, January-April 2024 Mini Catalog.
I began with a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, and embossed with a 3D Basics Embossing Folder.

Next, I used the second largest Perennial Postage Die to cut Basic White Cardstock, and placed it on Dimensionals. This is another set in the new catalog, available January 3, 2024.
The three hearts were cut with Adoring Hearts Dies from Thick Basic White Cardstock; three plain hearts, and three intricate overlays. After gluing them together, I attached them with Dimensionals.
Prior to attaching the layer, I stamped the sentiment from the Adoring Hearts Stamp Set. “To my Valentine” was stamped in VersaMark, sprinkled with Silver Embossing Powder, and set with the Heat Tool.

I keep saying this is my last Christmas card, but here is one more. I love the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Paper, and today’s card has a scene cut in two pieces: 2 1/4″ X 3 7/8 and 1 1/4″ X 3 7/8″. These were glued to a 4″ square of Garden Green Cardstock, which was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Prior to gluing, I embossed the card base with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder.
Winter NOEL
Next, I stamped NOEL, from the Joy Of Noel Stamp Set, in Early Espresso Ink on Basic White Cardstock, 1 7/8″ X 2 1/8″. This was glued to Garden Green Cardstock, 2″ X 2 /14″, and attached with Dimensionals.
The little bunny is from the Regal Reindeer Stamp Set, stamped in Early Espresso Ink, and cut with his Reindeer Die. He seems to hop on quite a few of my cards!
For some sparkle, I added Iridescent Rhinestone, one of my favorite embellishments.

Are you ready for a quick & easy Christmas card?
Begin with a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Layer the card base with Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Deckled Rectangles Die. Before gluing the layer to the card base, emboss it with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder.
In case you’re wondering, this embossing folder is carrying over, so it will be around for a while. Yay!
Stenciled Pine Boughs
Next, use a Joy Of Noel Die to cut a pine frond from Vellum Cardstock, approximately 3″ X 3″. The “cut-out” space makes a stencil for you to add Granny Apple Green Ink to Basic White Cardstock, cut with the third largest Deckled Rectangles Die.
Use a Small Blending Brush, stroking in one direction, so the frond stays in place, until moving it to the next location.
Use a second, Joy Of Noel Die, to cut thee Real Red Cardstock berries, glue them in place, and attach the layer with Dimensionals.
The sentiment, “many merry thoughts & wishes,” is from the Saint Nicholas Stamp Set. I stamped it in Real Red Ink, used a Sending Die for cutting, attached it with Dimensionals, and my “quick & easy” card was complete.
