Summer Beverages
My inspiration for today’s card was Claire’s challenge for the Paper Players Design Team.
I found the cute, little “summer beverage” in the Colorful Seasons stamp set, which I stamped in four colors, and cut with its coordinating die from the Seasonal Layers Die Set. I took the colors from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper on the right side of the card: Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, and Granny Apple Green.
The green stripe is really Old Olive, but I thought Granny Apple Green would taste better.
The sentiment, “Life is a beautiful thing,” also from the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set, was stamped in Memento Black Ink.
I couldn’t pass up using one of my favorite die-cuts, the Adirondack chair, so I added it in Thick Whisper White Cardstock. Besides, you need to sit down to consume all of those beverages!

Love this one, Su! I wish the DSP came with 12 pages of just that pattern, it works so perfectly for so many different occasions. That little row of tiny drinks is too cute!

A great way to meet a summer beverage challenge after a clear-out Su!! I love the way the colours mirror the stripes of the paper and that deckchair does look like the perfect place to relax to consume all those cocktails!!
