Everyone knows that blowing on a dandelion makes wishes come true, right?
This is the first time I’ve inked up the Dandelions Embossing Folder, and I mean that literally. Let’s call this the “ink to embossing folder” technique, because that’s exactly how I created today’s card.

Dandelion Wishes
I used two Stampin’ Write Markers, Soft Suede and Granny Apple Green, and colored the indented side of the embossing folder. I used the brush side of the markers, and was careful not to go beyond the debossed image.
Next, I cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and laid it on the non-inked side of the embossing folder. Then, I carefully closed the folder, and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I repeated with a second piece of cardstock (because I was experimenting), and I like this “stamped off,” lighter version better.
To clean the embossing folder, you simply let cold water run over it, and dry it with a towel.
The sentiment, “wishes,” was cut with a Well Written Die and Blushing Bride Cardstock, that I placed on a Foam Adhesive Sheet. I matched the word to the Blushing Bride card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″).
I was inspired by the colors at TGIF.
