I can’t stop playing around with these marvelous Large Letters! The questions is, how can I make long words fit on a 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″ card. I know my solution can’t be original, but here it is……..abbreviations!

I think the “Thank You” is interesting cut from this Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper. Doesn’t the pattern give the letters dimension?

I added a layer of cardstock beneath the letters, so they are strong enough to hang over the edge of the circle, especially since the circle is raised on dimensionals.

“THX” is on a circle of Soft Sky, die cut with the largest Stitched Shape circle, matching the Soft Sky card base. The background is from the Coffee Break DSP. As soon as I saw this DSP, I knew I would be ordering it, because the yummy mix of colors would lend themselves to masculine cards.

Hint: If you missed out, Stampin’ Up! is having a “Buy 3 Get One Free” Designer Series Paper sale right now.

So, I have a “quick and easy,” masculine thank you card, and I can share it with Global Design Project for this week’s theme, “grateful.”

Thanks for visiting my blog. Let me know if you come up with new ideas for the Large Letters!
