It was a clear, winter night, and the moon was full, when Santa and his reindeer took flight. This silhouette is from the Hearts Come Home stamp set.

The winter night began with a Night of Navy card base. The full moon was cut with a Layering Circles die from watercolor paper, and Santa’s silhouette was stamped in Basic Black ink. The row of Whisper White homes was cut using the Hometown Greetings die. “Merry Christmas” was from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. I don’t know what I’d do without these tiny sentiments!

This card was so quick and easy, it’s a definite contender for the 125 cards I’ll be needing to send at Christmas time. I even had time to cover the envelope flap in a starry sky.

Speaking of Santa taking flight, it just so happens that the theme of this week’s Less Is More challenge is “take flight.”

There is also a Christmas challenge at Happy Little Stampers, and anything goes. I have to admit, my inspiration for this card was from these two challenges.

Thanks for visiting my blog, and taking a Christmas flight with me!
