Monday, opening day at the US Open, couldn’t have gone better.
Bradley Klahn won his match.
And, so did 37 year old, Feliciano Lopez, my favorite since he was a teen.
We were there when the gates opened at 9:30 AM, and didn’t leave until 10:00PM.
The next day, we took a tennis time out to visit the 9/11 Museum, an unforgettable and emotional experience.
After sustenance, we walked the High Line. Trains once traveled the rails, but it’s now a walkway with gardens.
The High Line took us to a very interesting structure named The Vessel. We figured we’d had enough walking, so passed on additional climbing.
A wonderful meal at our hotel, prepping for the next full day of tennis.
I’ll see you tomorrow with my Seize the Birthday Guest Designer card. The “toppings” is fun; it’s “square cards.”
In case you’re wondering, my store is open. Go shopping, so you can get creative with me!
Great pic Su! Looks like you had an amazing time! So happy for you! I really enjoyed our trip to NYC about 8 years ago.
You’re so sweet! Thank you, Sandi!
Thanks for taking us along on your New York Adventures. Cant wait for your card tomorrow!!! Angels surround you as your travel to and fro! Happy times!
