The day has arrived! You get to order from the new September-December Mini Catalog! I chose a favorite suite for today’s card, Nests Of Winter (pages 30-31).Beginning with a Winterly Tree Tops die, I cut the birds from Nests Of Winter Designer Paper. No coloring was required, and they were ready to be placed on Dimensionals.

Winterly Tree Tops
Next, I used the large, Winterly Tree Tops die to cut the pine border from Thick Basic White Cardstock. This was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. The tips of the pine were left free, so I could tuck the sentiment, and branch, beneath them.

The sentiment, “Sending thanks & much love,” is from the Winterly Tree Tops Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, used a Deckled Circles Die for cutting, and glued it in place. This could easily be a Christmas card, with a different sentiment. For a final touch, I added three, Iridescent Pearls.

I just recently found your card on the internet. I got the winter tree tops bundle last year but just recently purchased the DSP. I love your card and decided to copy it with a few minor modifications. I realized that the back side of the bird DSP would be a perfect snowfall. I also thought it went well with Pool Party cardstock so I used that for the base. The sentiment is from Joy of Noel. Thanks for the inspiration.
I tried to include a picture of the card but it wouldn’t take it.
Beautiful cards!! TFS
Love your card with that frame. Very pretty.
Thank you, JoAnn! This is a favorite suite, for sure!
