Today’s card was inspired by a sketch, which you can see below. The colors were determined by a selection of Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper, which I cut to 4″ X 5 1/4″. Before gluing it to a Thick Basic White card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″) I created tiny dots along the bottom, using a really cool, Peaceful Evergreens Die.
Next, I stamped two trees, from the Peaceful Evergreens Stamp Set, in Misty Moonlight Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used their Peaceful Evergreens Dies for cutting. The smaller tree was glued, and the larger tree was attached with Dimensionals. Newcomers may not know, but when you order a stamp and die set together in a “bundle,” you save 10%. I have today’s supplies listed in bundles in my Product List below.
“Christmas” was created with two Peaceful Season Dies, cutting the word from Thoughtful Journey DSP, and the backing from Basic White Cardstock. After gluing the two together, I attached it with Dimensionals. To complete the card, I used a Peaceful Evergreens Die to cut the star from White Glimmer Paper. And, to make the trees glisten, which you can only see in person, I brushed them with Wink Of Stella.
I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.
