We all love embossing folders, right? The Forever Plaid Embossing Folder is new, from our September-December 2024 Mini Catalog, which I used to add texture to a pattern of Sentimental Christmas Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″. One caution about embossing designer paper; it’s thinner than cardstock, so use less pressure when running through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Ask me how I know. LOL!
Sentimental Christmas DSP has a wonderful, vintage look to it, and was chosen by Stampin’ Up! for this year’s Product Giveback, to benefit children’s literacy. With each purchase of the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! will donate $3 to organizations dedicated to the future of children around the world. We hope you’ll join us in making a difference this holiday season. Order #164209.
After gluing the embossed designer paper to the Garden Green card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I used a Sentimental Wishes Die to cut the stocking from another pattern of the Sentimental Christmas Designer Paper. Next, I stamped the sentiment in Garden Green Ink on the designer paper, and used a Something Fancy Die for cutting. “Have a very merry Christmas” is from the Sentimental Wishes Stamp Set. Then, I glued the stocking and sentiment label together, and attached them with Dimensionals.
To complete the card, I added a bow of Garden Green Linen Thread, and three Adhesive Backed Peppermints. The peppermints are my host code gift this month. See below how to make them yours.
