More Pressed Petals for today’s birthday card. I’m so happy that the Pressed Petals Washi Tape is still available.

Stationery
Knowing I wanted to used the Pressed Petals Washi Tape, I chose a piece of the coordinating Pressed Petals Designer Paper for the border on the left side. I backed it with cardstock for thickness, and used a Magnolia Memory Die for cutting. Don’t you like the pretty, curved edge?
I placed the border, on Dimensionals, on a layer of Very Vanilla cardstock that was embossed with the Scripty Embossing Folder. Then, I glued this layer to a Thick Very Vanilla card base.
“Happy” is from the Merry Christmas Die Set, cut from Thick Very Vanilla Cardstock, and layered for thickness. I wanted “Happy” to be subdued, blending in with the script embossing. After positioning “Happy,” I continued on with “birthday.”
“Birthday” is from the Well Said Stamp Set, stamped in Crumb Cake Ink on Thick Very Vanilla Cardstock. I used an Ornate Frames Die for cutting, and placed it on Dimensionals.
Behind “birthday” are three, Washi Tape Petals. They really make this card come to life! I added three, small leaves, using a die from the Bouquet Bunch Die Set, and Pressed Petals DSP (the Mossy Meadow music design.)
My layout is from the TGIF challenge.
This card reminds me of stationery, and the long letters I used to write. I can smell the scented fragrance now! If you’d like to make a similar card, you can order supplies by clicking on the pictures in my Product List below. Thank you, and have a wonderful day!

Thank you Claudia! That makes me feel sooo good!
I love all the cards you make. You are very talented. How do you get the layering so even. When I try and do that it just doesn’t look like yours. Maybe I just need to practice more.
Thank you, Glenda! That’s such a sweet comment. I line up the left side and the top. As long as the cutting measurement is correct, that should give you an even border. You can do it!
So beautiful!!
Thank you, Stephanie! I’m so glad you like it!
