Today’s Christmas card features a red rose bouquet, along with a framed sentiment.
Christmas Rose
I began by stamping a flower from the First Frost Stamp Set in Real Red Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock. After cutting the flower with its Frosted Bouquet Die, I used my Bone Folder to give it shape.
The stamped piece, directly beneath the rose, was made with Garden Green Ink, Very Vanilla Cardstock, and a die from Frosted Bouquet.
Two more dies were used to make the Garden Green leaves and Very Vanilla “Baby’s Breath.” I used the Subtle Texture Embossing Folder to add interest to the leaves, and dotted the “Baby’s Breath” with Shimmery Crystal Effects.
The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp set, stamped in Real Red ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock. Don’t you love how it is framed? The background for my bouquet is Toile Tidings Designer Paper on a Garden Green card base. I used the largest Stitched Rectangles Die to cut the DSP.
