Are you ready for another sneak peek of the 2019-2020 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog? Today’s card is from one of my favorite, pre-order, stamp sets, Good Morning Magnolia.

Magnolia Thanks
Our magnolia tree has its first bloom of the season. There will be new ones every day for a while now. I just wish they lasted as long as paper flowers!
I was anxious to see how the large magnolia looked with a gold, heat embossed, outline. So, I stamped the flower in VersaMark on Sahara Sand cardstock, sprinkled it with Gold embossing powder, and set it with the Heat Tool.
A Magnolia Memory die was used for cutting the flower. This was especially handy, because I cut two more for thickness, which made for easy layering.
Next, I gave the flower some light coloring with three Stampin’ Blends: Light Old Olive, Light Daffodil Delight, and the Color Lifter. After coloring, I gave the flower texture with the Subtle Textured embossing folder.
The background was made with the Corrugated embossing folder and Sahara Sand cardstock, which I glued to the Sahara Sand card base.
“Thanks” is also in the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set, and I used the same method as the flower to heat emboss it in gold. I used a new Stitched Nested Label die for cutting out the sentiment, and added five, tiny pearls.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed my sneak peek of Good Morning Magnolia. The first three items in my Product List will be available June 4th. The other supplies I used in today’s card are available today. I appreciate you shopping with me. Thank you!

This is one of the most beautiful Magnolia cards I have seen. Your detailed steps in how you created this gorgeous card are so appreciated. Thanks so much for sharing
I’m so glad you like it. Since I created it last May, it’s nice to know it’s still being seen. I appreciate you telling me.
Thank you, Yolanda!
your card is beautiful- so you cut the flower three times and then ran the image all three layers and the embossed image through the folder? May I case this card?
Thank you, Donna! I used the embossing folder on just the top flower, and glued the other two beneath it. Yes, you may. Thanks for asking.
Beautiful Card Su! I love the look of the image run through the Subtle EF. Looks like you went both directions? The Corrugated background really sets it all off nicely! Can’t wait to make one. I hope mine will look a bit like yours. Everything you touch is perfect!
What a nice thing to say, Barb! I work hard at covering my mistakes, and perfect is something I’m not.
I usually go both directions with the Subtle EF.
Love this so much Su!
Thank you, Barb! I’m so glad you like it!
