Laurie, a Paper Players designer chose this week’s theme, “Spooky.”
But, before I show you my super, scary card, I want to thank Leanne for selecting my card in last week’s color challenge. She made my canary friend very happy. If you’d like details, just click on the canary.
Now, are you ready to see my scary card? There I go, using those large letters again. I thought it would make an extra scary impact because of the size.
I die cut the letters from the spider web DSP, and triple layered them with Smoky Slate cardstock to match the card base. This Stampin’ Up paper is retired. I have some to spare, so if you don’t have a demonstrator, contact me, and I’d be happy to send you some.
I chose a brick wall as a home for the spider web, layered with a hint of orange for Halloween. I don’t normally think of sequins as scary, but they turned into ghosts, right before my “eyes!”
Thanks for visiting my blog! Enjoy your day!
P.S. Postage will be included, so, totally FREE!
I love that DSP too Su and made a BOO card with it too last year against and orange background – great minds think alike! I love your eclipse-inspired card – those sequin eyes are a fun spooky touch too. Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!
Thanks for visiting my blog, Joanne. I guess this DSP just calls for a big BOO!”
Su, this is fabulous! I love the that big, bold BOO! It is such a fun way to showcase your DSP! Don’t you just love it when you have a piece of paper hoarded that is perfect! I agree, those sequins make it look like ghosts! How creative! SO happy you joined us at The Paper Players this week! XX
Thanks so much for your thoughtful comments, Claire. I really appreciate it! Yes, I love the DSP!

Thank you, Frenchie! Hugs back!
Fabulous card! And the “eyes” have it! lol!
I’m so glad you like my card, Kathy! And, you found the eyes!
Love this card Su! I was just looking at this paper and wondering how to use it.
Thanks, Pam! The silver shine from the foil web makes the paper even more special in person. Have fun using it!
