This is such a pretty “swoosh” from the Star of Light stamp set. I haven’t used it for fireworks, but today is the day!

When I saw the challenge at Less Is More, it’s the first thing that popped into my mind.
I’m learning to leave lots of white space in these challenges, although, it doesn’t need to be literally “white.” It can be open space of any color. But, I like the way that color stands out against black and white, so I went with a Basic Black swoosh on Whisper White.
Then, I stamped the fireworks in eight, bright colors using a stamp from the same set, and a Starlight Die for cutting. Before popping them up on Mini Dimensionals, I embossed “celebrate” across the swoosh.

This “quick and easy” card could be used for any celebration, so I haven’t decided the inside sentiment yet.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, and have a great weekend!

I would love to make a card like this, but wondering how you embossed ‘celebrate’ into your card. Do you have a tutorial for this? Thanks!
The only instructions are in my blog post. I used a Stampin’ Up! Embossing Folder for “Celebrate.” Thanks for asking. I’m glad you like it.
Just perfect, fun, sparkly and wonderful CAS take on our firework challenge. Neat and precise andThanks for playing at Less is More this week!
Thank you, Sarah! I really enjoyed this challenge!
Hello Ankie! I’m so glad you like it! Thanks for visiting my blog!
Oh wow, this is so lovely. Greetings, Ankie
Gorgeous card with this beautiful contrasts between the black swirl, the wide white space and the colourful fireworks ! Very eye-catching and a fabulous CAS design ! Thanks so much for sharing and for playing along at Less is More !
Thank you, Izzy! I appreciate your thoughtful comments. BTW, you have the best name!
Such a cool card! I love all the dimension you created by using the negative sentiment die cut + popping up your colorful “fireworks”. The black swirl adds fun movement to the design as does the position of your fireworks! Great job! Thanks for joining us at Less is More!
Thank you, Nonni! I’m really enjoying the Less Is More challenges!
You’re making me laugh, Susan. Thank you!
Genius. Yes, Su, genius. Love it!
I LOVE this card!! You have totally enabled me to finally buy this set (and the framelits). I’ve had my eye on it for awhile and didn’t think I really needed another Christmas set. But there are so many more possibilities using the “swish” than just for Christmas. Thanks for sharing this card;-)
Thanks Anita! I’ve created some of my favorite Christmas cards with this set, but this one surprised me! It’s fun when that happens.
I love this! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you, Kerry! I love sharing!
