I began today’s card by using a Deckled Rectangles Die (2″ X 3 1/4″) to cut a hole from the center of Basic White Cardstock, creating a stencil. Next, I selected three colors of ink: Coastal Cabana, Lost Lagoon, and Pool Party. Then, I placed the stencil over Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″, and used Blending Brushes to color inside the “hole.”
The focal point is a branch, cut from Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper, with a Golden Greenery Die. After cutting, I layered it for thickness, and glued it in place. Look for this branch on tomorrow’s blog post.
“I appreciate you” is from the Thoughtful Wishes Stamp Set. I stamped it in Pretty Peacock Ink, used a Happy Little Things Die for cutting, and attached it with Mini Dimensionals. After gluing my art piece to a Lost Lagoon card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I added five Shimmer Gems.

Beautiful card! I love the idea of using dies as a stencil! So simple and elegant! I might try something like this for some of the Christmas cards using different colors! Your card is just simply eye catching! I am learning so much from your blog! Thanks for sharing your creativity!
Thank you, Mary! I appreciate your nice comment!
