This week’s TGIF Challenge is “color,” using Smoky Slate, Night Of Navy, and Granny Apple Green. I can’t wait to see how YOU use the colors. Please join our challenge, and tag your entry #tgifc580.

I thought the colors would be nice on a sympathy card.

Boutique Blossoms Sympathy

The first thing I did was cut Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″ with the Eyelet Blooms Die. This was glued to a Smoky Slate card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. After I created my card, I saw that the Eyelet Blooms Die has sold out. This is going to happen to Products of the Month, so if you like this month’s, Wild Bunch Stamp Set, don’t wait to order. You can see it below.

Next, I stamped flowers, from the Boutique Blossoms Stamp Set, in Night Of Navy Ink on Basic White Cardstock. I stamped the “outline” stamp first, and stamped the “coloring” stamp second. Then, I used the Boutique Blossoms Dies for cutting. Before attaching the flowers to the card front, I cut leaves from Granny Apple Green Cardstock with a Boutique Blossoms Die, and glued them in place.

The sentiment, “so sorry for your loss,” is from the Promises & Prayers Stamp Set. I stamped it in Night Of Navy Ink, used a Scalloped Blooms Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.

Product of the Month  ($5.00 with a $75.00 order).
