Today’s card is a combination of the new bundle, Frosted Forest, and two designer papers. I began by using a Frosted Forest Die to cut Country Woods Designer Paper, and snipped the ends of the “ground” to 4″. After gluing the trees to a 4″ X 4″ square of Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper, I glued the layer to a Copper Clay card base, 8 1/2″ X 4 1/4″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Frosted Forest Fall
Next, I used a Friends For life Die to cut a piece of coordinating, Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper, for the sentiment. I like the way this die and the Frosted Forest Die stretch across 4″, which is the reason I decided on a square card.
The sentiment, “Thinking of you, and how you strengthen my life,” is from the Frosted Forest Stamp Set. I stamped it in Early Espresso Ink on the DSP, gave it one layer of cardstock for thickness, and attached it with Mini Dimensionals.

Today’s clean & simple card uses one of my favorite techniques, stencilling.
Stenciled Leaves
I began by cutting a Friends For Life, leaf die, from Basic White Cardstock. Then, using this as a stencil, I applied ink with Small Blending Brushes to Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. I placed the stencil randomly, and used three colors of ink: Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, and Lemon Lime Twist. After coloring, I glued my leaves to a Lost Lagoon card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The sentiment, “You’re a true blessing,” is from the Unbounded Love Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, and used an Unbounded Love Die for cutting. This die is extra cute, because it cuts in two pieces, so you could choose a different colored frame. Country Woods Heart
I began by cutting the Friends For Life heart from a pattern of Country Woods Designer Paper. Then, I used a second die to cut the leaves from a second pattern, snipped them in half, and glued them to the back of the heart.
After gluing the leaves, I used the Timber Embossing Folder to give the heart and leaves even more wood texture. Then, I used a third die to cut the overlay from a third pattern of DSP, and glued it on top of the heart.
The background is a fourth pattern of Country Woods DSP, 3 5/8″ X 4 7/8″, glued to the same pattern as the heart overlay, 3 3/4″ X 5″. This was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
“Happy anniversary” is from the Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set. I stamped it in Early Espresso Ink on Country Woods DSP, used a Friends For Life Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
After attaching the heart and leaves with Dimensionals, and adding three Blooming Pearls, my anniversary card was complete. I love the Blooming Pearls, and I’ve already decided, they will be my host code gift for July!

The Silver Dollar Eucalyptus tree originated in Australia, and is prolific in San Diego. I love this pattern of leaves in the Frames & Flowers Specialty Paper, that I used for today’s card. And, don’t miss the sale announcement below!
Silver Dollar Eucalyptus
Doesn’t it look like the Silver Dollar Eucalyptus tree that is growing in my front yard?
To begin, I glued the Frames & Flowers DSP, 3 3/4″ X 5″, to a Smoky Slate card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I used a Friends For Life Die to cut the heart from solid, Frames & Flowers Specialty Paper, and a second heart for the Silver Foil frame.
“Love you” is from the Friends For Life Stamp Set, stamped in Pretty Peacock Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used a Happy Little Things Die for cutting, and placed it on Mini Dimensionals on top of a piece of Silver & White Sheer Ribbon. The ribbon is adhered with Tear & Tape beneath the sentiment label.
To complete the design, I added a “punch-out” branch with Dimensionals, and three Smoky Slate Pearls.
