The So Many Snowflakes Die Set has a wonderful die that worked perfectly for today’s Global Design Project Sketch.
Thank You Snow Much
I began by cutting Basic White Cardstock with a Stitched Rectangles Die, 3″ X 4 1/4″. Then, I used the So Many Snowflakes Die to cut the center, where it fit perfectly. The Snowflakes Die was used a second time to cut from the blue patterned, Harvest Meadow Designer Paper. This time, I used the center from the cut to fill in the hole.
I glued my die-cuts to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Prior to gluing, I embossed the card front with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.
“Thank you snow much” is from the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set, stamped in Black Stazon Ink, and cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die. The die is 1 1/4″ X 3″, and I used a size larger, Stitched Rectangles Die, to cut the length, making the label fit the sentiment.
Prior to attaching the sentiment with Dimensionals, I glued a Wonderful Snowflake embellishment, which you see beneath it. To complete the card, I added some Metallic Pearls. All of today’s supplies are in my Product List below.

This is Snowball from the Snowman Season Stamp Set, which is not a new set, but a carry-over in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. Snowball was quick to add that he is the cutest snowman EVER, and should be on everyone’s holiday cards EVERY year. He does make me smile!
Snowball was easy to stamp, and for this card, he was fussy cut, and attached with Dimensionals. Although, he said he was just as cute in the middle of a die cut, and as long as he had snow, he was happy.
Snowball
Snowball wanted to play in lots of Basic White snow (5 3/8 X 4 1/8), and decided to cut a “window” with a So Many Snowflakes Die. Isn’t it great? You can see the die in the picture above, plus the entire set in my Product list below.
For the background of the window, I used a Blending Brush with Coastal Cabana Ink on Basic White Cardstock, 4 1/2″ X 3 1/4″. This was taped to the back of the layer, which was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Prior to taping the background, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink. “It’s the most wonderful time of the year” is from the Tidings & Trimmings Stamp Set.
To complete the card, Snowball thought I should stamp a few snowflakes (Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set) in Coastal Cabana Ink, in the left, upper corner. He was very specific. And, just one more thing, a few Artistry Blooms Sequins.

It’s my first time to play with the Christmas Pinecone Dies, and you are going to love them! Look at this fabulous die that fills the card front! It’s #156309, part of the Painted Christmas Suite, pp. 16-19 in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog, available August 3. That’s the day after tomorrow; not long to wait!
I used this large die to cut Tidings Of Christmas Designer Paper, which was included in the paper sale for the month of July. The last day is tomorrow, August 2, so order now before it goes back to regular price. The Evening Evergreen print (top middle, in the picture in my Product List) is the pattern I chose for today’s card.
Christmas Pinecones
After using the large die, I used the pinecone dies to cut from Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. This fabulous paper is a FREE item, with a qualifying order, during Sale-A-Bration that begins August 3. It’s #156629, and I suggest ordering it right away, because I could see it going on backorder.
I glued the Be Dazzling pinecones to the back of the large die-cut, matching the location, and then glued the large die-cut to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 /12 “, folded at 4 1/4”.
Next I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler Ink on Thick Basic White Cardstock, and used a Painted Labels Die for cutting. This label die was just the right size for, “May your season sparkle,” from the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set. Yay!
Lastly, I decorated the label with small, Seasonal Swirls Dies, another new die set, #156564. I used Tidings Of Christmas Designer Paper for the leaves, and Be Dazzling Paper for the “berry.”
I attached the label with Dimensionals, and my Christmas Pinecones card was complete.

Our friendships are unique, and I love the sentiment in the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set that likens friendships to snowflakes, “Our friendship is one of a kind.”
One of a kind
Although this set was in our 2020 Holiday Catalog, it is carrying over, and is available. You can see the complete stamp set and die set in my Product List below. Looking at the Paper Player’s challenge, you’ll understand my inspiration for today’s card.
I began by using the largest die, from So Many Snowflakes, to cut from Seaside Spray Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. Then, I embossed it with the Subtle Textured Embossing Folder, and glued it to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Next, I cut a smaller snowflake from Vellum Cardstock, and glued it with tiny dots of Liquid Glue to the center of my larger snowflake. I also cut a frame of Vellum for the sentiment, using an Ornate Frames Die.
The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark on Seaside Spray Cardstock, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder, and set with the Heat Tool. I used an Ornate Frames Die for cutting the sentiment, which fits within the Vellum die-cut, glued the two together, and attached with Dimensionals.
Finally, I added a few Whale Of A Time Sequins for a little sparkle. This happens to be my Host Code gift this month. See directly below.
