Today’s card uses the same products as yesterday’s, with the exception of one die set, Patchwork Pieces. This unusual die was first used to cut Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″. I placed the die in the center of the cardstock, and rolled it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. This gave me the frame and two white, patchwork pieces.
Patchwork Pieces
I used the die to make two more cuts from Hello Irresistible Designer Paper; one from Lost lagoon and one from Petal Pink. Then, I glued the six pieces inside the frame, as shown.
Next, I stamped “The Lord is my shepherd,” from the Night Divine Stamp Set, in Pretty Peacock Ink. Then, using Night Divine Dies. I cut the shepherd from Pretty Peacock Cardstock, and the sheep from Thick Basic White Cardstock. I glued them in place, and my second sympathy card was complete.

When I saw this week’s Global Design Project colors, I thought of Hello Irresistible Designer Paper, because it blends these colors beautifully.
I chose the Night Divine Bundle to combine with this pretty designer paper. The bundle was designed for Christmas cards, but it can easily be adapted to sympathy cards.
The Lord is my Shepherd
I began by cutting 1/2″ strips of the designer paper (two in Petal Pink, and five in Lost Lagoon), and gluing them to Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″. After gluing the strips 1/16″ apart, I used the largest Countryside Corners Die for cutting. Then, I glued my die-cut to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Next, I cut the nativity, using a Night Divine Die, from Pretty Peacock cardstock. After snipping the shepherd free from the scene, I attached him to the card with Dimensionals. The sheep were cut from Thick Basic White Cardstock, and attached with Dimensionals.
“The Lord is my shepherd” is from the Night Divine Stamp Set. I stamped it in Pretty Peacock Ink, cut with the second smallest Countryside Corners Die, and attached with Dimensionals.
While I was designing this card, another idea popped into my head, which I will post tomorrow.

Today’s card combines the Beauty Of The Deep Bundle with the Rays Of Light Stamp. I began by stamping the Rays Of Light in Coastal Cabana Ink on Basic White Cardstock, 3 1/2″ X 4 3/4″, and gluing it to a Lost Lagoon card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Next, I stamped the fish in Memento Black Ink, and the seaweed in Granny Apple Green, on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used their Beauty Of The Deep Dies for cutting, along with a die to cut the coral from Basic White Cardstock.
Undersea Light
After cutting, I glued the seaweed and coral in place, and attached the fish with Dimensionals. Prior to attaching the fish, I colored them with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend.
The sentiment, “I’ll listen to your silence when words are just too much,” is from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, used its Wonderful Thoughts Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. It seemed appropriate for the quiet, undersea world, with the sunlit rays of hope.
The final touch was bubbles, provided by 2022-2024 In Color Matte Dots.

The Color & Contour Stamp Set has a trio of stylized flowers that I wanted to make the focal point of my “Rainy Days” sympathy card. I began by stamping the flowers in Memento Black Ink on Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used its Scalloped Contours Die for cutting.
After cutting, I used four colors of Stampin’ Blends for coloring the flowers: Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Granny Apple Green. I was careful coloring, next to the black lines, to avoid smearing.
Raindrops and Flowers
For the background, I embossed Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper (4″ X 5 1/4″) with the Raindrops Embossing Folder. To make it sturdy for raising on Dimensionals, I backed it with cardstock. Then, I used a Deckled Rectangles Die (1 3/8″ X 2 3/4″) to cut a hole in the center. I used strips of Dimensionals from the “left-over” edges to give it a good lift on the Thick Basic White card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″).
Prior to embossing, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink.
“Here for you now…and in better days ahead” is from the Color & Contour Stamp Set.
Next, I attached the flowers with Dimensionals in the “open space,” and glued the tips to the rainy “sky.”
The final touch was adding three, 2023-2025 In Color Dots, in Boho Blue. The shiny dots are pretty in all five colors, which you can see in my Product List below.
