Today’s card is a third sneak peek of the year-round, Translucent Florals, available September 6th, along with all the new holiday products.
The Translucent Florals Dies have beautiful petals and leaves, which I cut from Hello Irresistible Designer Paper. They were easy to glue together, with centers cut from Basic White Cardstock.
Irresistible Translucent Florals
Next, I cut Thick Basic White Cardstock with an Irresistible Blooms Die, which I glued to Pretty Peacock Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″. After trimming the excess from the white die-cut, I glued the layer to a Pretty Peacock card base, * 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Because this Irresistible Blooms Die is fabulous, but tricky to use, I’ll re-post my discovery.
Cut a piece of Cardstock, 6 1/4″ X 1 1/2″, and adhere it to the same size cut of an Adhesive Sheet. Then, place the Irresistible Blooms Die on top of the cardstock, and run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. After cutting, poke out all the parts that aren’t part of the design, before peeling the backing of the Adhesive Sheet.
Leaving the die in place, position it on the cardstock, pressing to make it stick, before removing the die.
The sentiment, “You’re the best,” is from the Translucent Florals Stamp Set. I stamped it in VersaMark on Pretty Peacock Cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder. After setting it with the Heat Tool, I used a Timeless Arrangments Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
