Today’s card is the fourth sneak peek of the year-round, Translucent Florals. Beginning September 6th, Translucent Florals, along with all the new holiday products will be available to everyone!
I began by cutting the petals from the truly translucent, Vellum Basics Specialty Paper. It reminds me of Dotted Swiss fabric, with its tiny dots.
After cutting the petals, I colored them with Stampin’ Blends in the colors of Bubble Bath and Fresh Freesia. Then, I attached the petals with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, and glued the centers, cut from the More Dazzle Specialty Paper. Don’t you love the sparkle?
Vellum Translucent Florals
For the background, I cut a branch from Basic White Cardstock, using a Gorgeously Made Die.
The branch was glued to Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Deckled Rectangles Die. Then, the layer was glued to a Gray Granite card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The sentiment, “Hello there,” is from the Nature’s Prints Stamp Set. I stamped it in Gray Granite Ink, cut it to shape with two Deckled Rectangles Dies, and attached it with Dimensionals.
