Today we have a “festive” Christmas card. I began by stamping the truck, from the Trucking Along Stamp Set, in Cherry Cobbler Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I stamped the truck outline in Memento Black Ink, and colored the wheels with a Basic Black Stampin’ Blend.
After coloring, I used the Trucking Along Punch for cutting, which will be available the middle of October. (The latest update is October 9). The stamp set is available NOW, in Online Exclusives, and clicking on its picture in my Product List will take you there.
Next, I loaded a tree onto the truck by using a Reindeer Die to cut Garden Green Cardstock. Isn’t this tree cute? I snipped the tree in half to make it the perfect size.
The background was created with Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 3 1/2″, embossed with the Merry Melody Embossing Folder. Prior to embossing, I used a Gorgeously Made Die to cut the top and bottom edges.
Beneath the music is Joy Of Christmas Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 4″, glued to a Thick Basic White card base.
The sentiment, “Wishing you a festive Christmas,” is from the Trucking Along Stamp Set. I stamped it in Cherry Cobbler Ink, used a Gorgeously Made Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. Just had to add three Cherry Cobbler Enamel Dots from my retired stash.
When I saw the challenge at TGIF, I made an identical card using different colors.

Su, I love these adorable cards. I just can’t get enough of Christmas cards using the truck. Great job using both red and green. Enjoy your day!
Thank you, Hilda! For all of those wanting the Truck Punch, I just saw an update that it should be available October 9!
Just read Sue’s comment…I couldn’t have said it better…it is exactly how I feel. This card is adorable.
Hi Charlotte, it’s amazing that you feel like Sue! That is so nice! You gals made my day!
The first thing that I do in the morning is check my email on my phone. Your cards are always so lovely, that it has become a habit to scan through quickly until I see yours. It is the only one that I open and read before breakfast. (Unless there is something from my overseas family!) Such a lovely start to my day! Thank you for sharing your talent and inspiring me!
Hi Sue, That is such a wonderful compliment! Thank you! Where is your overseas family located?
The Isle of Man, a small island in the middle of the Irish sea between England and Scotland! I came to Ontario, Canada for a year back in 1979 and I am still here, but the island will always be home!
Canada must feel like home too. Hopefully, you get to visit The Isle of Man frequently.
