Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month’s theme is “Male Room.” The Pals hope to inspire you with their masculine card ideas and paper craft creations using Stampin’ Up! products. Links to the participant’s blogs can be found at the end of each post to help you “hop” along!

The Woven Textures Designer Paper is amazing, and perfect for masculine cards.

Woven Textures

The first thing I did was cut the “straw mat” from the center of one of the patterns, using a Spotlight On Nature Die. Then, I used the largest Textured Notes Die to cut Basic White Cardstock to layer on the Gray Granite card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Before gluing, I stamped a branch, from the Textured Notes Stamp Set, in Gray Granite Ink on the Basic White Cardstock layer.

Next, I used Wanted to Say Dies to cut “Happy Birthday” from Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then, I cut the backing from Woven Textures Designer Paper, glued them together, and attached the words with Dimensionals.

How do like the miniature scissors? They were cut with Crafting with You Dies from Silver Foil and Basic Black Cardstock. I love how realistic they are! They are cutting leaves that I stamped in Early Espresso Ink on Woven Textures Designer Paper. As a final touch, I added three Adhesive Backed Textured Dots, and my masculine birthday card was complete.

Thank you for visiting. See you next time!

We have more inspiration to share, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Don’t miss out next month as we create for the “Flowers in Bloom” theme.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.
