The forest scene on today’s “Merry Christmas” card was easily created with One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Paper. I cut the 6″ X 6″ DSP to 3 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, and glued it to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Prior to gluing the scene to the card base, I glued a strip of One Horse Open Sleigh DSP, 4 1/4″ X 3/4″, one inch from the bottom.
Forest Scene
Next, I stamped “Merry Christmas” ( Ringed With Nature Stamp Set) in Early Espresso Ink on Basic White Cardstock, 3 3/8″ X 5/8″. This was glued to One Horse Open Sleigh DSP, 3 1/2″ X 3/4″, and attached with Dimensionals.
The bunny is from the Regal Reindeer Stamp Set, stamped in Early Espresso Ink, and cut with a Reindeer Die. The stamp set includes the small marking in the snow, which I stamped in Early Espresso Ink, before attaching the bunny with Dimensionals.
I added three Iridescent Rhinestones as a final touch.

Simply Sparkling is a fabulous, new, online exclusive, available right now! It has so many wonderful images, and I couldn’t wait to use the bubble die.
I cut two sections of bubbles from Thick Basic White Cardstock, and glued them on an angle to Basic White Cardstock, 3 7/8″ X 5 1/8″. This layer was glued to black & white, Zoo Crew Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, which was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Bubbles and Fruit
The Simply Sparkling Bundle has wonderful fruit, which I stamped in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After stamping the five pieces of fruit, I used their dies for cutting.
Next, I colored the fruit and leaves with Stampin’ Blends in eight colors: Starry Sky, Night Of Navy, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie,Calypso Coral, Real Red, Granny Apple Green, and Old Olive. Then, I attached them to the card front with Dimensionals.
“Extra Bubbly” was stamped on Basic White Cardstock, and cut with the Double Oval Punch, along with the scalloped oval, and both were attached with Dimensionals.
“Birthday wishes” and the bubbles beneath it, were stamped in Memento Black Ink, and Wink of Stella was added for extra sparkle.

The Tailored Made Tags Dies are great for do-it-yourself gift tags, or, to decorate a card front! Click on the picture in my Product List below to see details of the entire set.
For today’s card, I used four of the tag dies, plus hole reinforcers, to cut Joy Of Christmas Designer Paper.
Tailor Made Tags
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 3 5/8″ X 4 7/8″, embossed with the Merry Melody Embossing Folder. This was glued to Joy Of Christmas DSP in a woodgrain pattern, 3 3/4″ X 5″, which was glued to a Garden Green card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Before gluing the tags in place, I tied Real Red Ribbon to the top of the largest tag, and Linen Thread to the smallest tag. I also stamped “To You & Yours,” in Pecan Pie Ink, on the smallest tag, and attached it with Dimensionals. This sentiment is from the Christmas Classics Stamp Set.
I was inspired by The Paper Players.

Gardening
This week’s Global Design Project is a color challenge, and I thought the red, green, and blue would suit the Garden Meadow Bundle perfectly. See how the other designers used the colors, then add your card to our gallery.
I began by stamping images from the Garden Meadow Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and cutting them with their dies in the bundle. Then, I colored them with Stampin’ Blends. I didn’t have Lemon Lime Twist, so substituted it with Parakeet Party.
The background was created with Basic White Cardstock, cut with a wonderful Garden Meadow Die ( first photo), glued to Delightful Floral DSP in Pool Party, and glued to Masterfully Made DSP in Lemon Lime Twist. The card base is Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Next, I stamped “thinking of you” in Lemon Lime Twist Ink on the Delightful Floral DSP, and used a Timeless Arrangements Die for cutting.
Prior to gluing, and attaching the elements to the card front with Dimensionals, I glued a branch to the back of the sentiment label. The branch was cut with a Gorgeously Made Die from Masterfully Made Designer Paper.

For today’s card, I have to show you my inspiration, first. I fell in love with it, and wanted to create something very similar.
I began with the wood background, cut from All About Autumn Designer Paper, with the largest Deckled Rectangles Die. This was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Floral bouquet on wood
The bouquet was created with the Translucent Florals Stamps, on Basic White Cardstock, in five colors of ink: Flirty Flamingo (large flower), Mossy Meadow (leaves), small flowers (Crushed Curry and Gorgeous Grape), and Garden Green (sprigs).
After stamping, I cut the bouquet parts with Translucent Florals Dies, glued them together, and attached them to the card front with Dimensionals. The center of the large flower was cut from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock.
“Thanks” is from the Biggest Wishes Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink, directly on the All About Autumn Designer Paper.

Today’s card has a technique I haven’t used in a while, “ink to block.” It’s fun to do, and will always give you a slightly different look. I began with the H Clear Block, and colored it with the Pretty Peacock Ink Pad, spritzed a little water, and stamped it on Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. The same was repeated with Lost Lagoon Ink, and stamped as shown. A third color, Pool Party was used with the G Clear Block.
Ink to Block Technique
After stamping, I embossed the layer with a Basics 3D Embossing Folder, available in Online Exclusives. Then, I stamped “Joyous” (Joy Of Noel Stamp Set) in Pretty Peacock Ink, and glued the layer to a Pretty Peacock card base, 8 1/2″ X 51/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. I usually stamp a sentiment before embossing, and was happy it came out okay in the reverse order.
Next, I created the word, “NOEL” using a Joy Of Noel die and More Dazzle Specialty Paper.
To give the letters dimension, I cut a piece of Foam Adhesive Sheet the same size as the More Dazzle Paper, adhered them together, placed the “NOEL” die on top of the More Dazzle Paper, and ran them through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine. Then, I removed the letters, leaving the backing intact until I was ready to attach them to the card front.
To complete the design, I used a Joy Of Noel die to cut a branch from Basic White Cardstock, and glued it in place. And, the final touch was adding three Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
