I fussy cut birds for my first design, but today, I simply cropped the bird with a Deckled Rectangles Die, 2 1/4″ X 3 1/2″.
Sneak Peek #2
For the background, I cut a 2″ wide strip of Flight & Airy DSP in Fresh Freesia, and glued it to Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. Then, I used the largest Deckled Rectangles Die for cutting.
Before attaching the layer, with Dimensionals, to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I embossed it with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder.
“My heart will always be tied to yours” is from Wonderful Thoughts, a great sentiment bundle that is in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. You can see all of the sentiments with dies in my Product List below.
I stamped it in Fresh Freesia Ink, used its Wonderful Thoughts Die for cutting, and attached it with glue and Dimensionals.
The last detail was adding three, Fresh Freesia Tinsel Gems.

This is a beautiful set for Christmas cards, and today’s card is one of two, using the same products, with a couple exceptions. The first Night Divine card was posted on November 25.
I began with a Pretty Peacock card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. This was layered with Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Deckled Rectangles Die.
Prior to gluing, I used an Artistic Mix Decorative Mask, with VersaMark and Gold Embossing Powder, to heat emboss a pattern of gold.
Night Divine #2
Next, I used the 6th largest Deckled Circles Die to cut Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty Paper. This was layered with Basic White Cardstock, cut with the 7th largest Deckled Circles Die. Prior to gluing, I stamped “O Holy Night” in Pretty Peacock Ink, and embossed it with a Basics 3D Embossing Folder.
The nativity scene was cut with a Night Divine Die from Lost Lagoon Cardstock, and layered for thickness. I love the detail in this die set!
The last step was placing a star, cut from the Dry Brushed Metallic Paper.

The Joy Of Noel Bundle is retiring, one of my favorite “last chance” products. It isn’t discounted, but you only have until Jan 3 to purchase it, or when it sells out.
I began today’s “clean & simple” card with a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I embossed it with the Merry Melody Embossing Folder. Stampin’ Up! told us this is the music to Joy To The World, one of my favorite holiday songs.
After embossing the card front, I used the largest, square, Stylish Shapes Die to cut two squares from Winter Meadow Designer Paper.
NOEL Music
Next, I used the “NOEL” Die, in the Joy Of Noel Dies Set, to cut the letters in one of the Winter Meadow Designer Paper squares. Then, I glued the squares together, cut the letters from a darker piece of Winter Meadow DSP, and glued the letters in the holes.
This paper is so pretty, and I’m happy to say it is a “carry-over,” and is not retiring. You can see all of the patterns in my Product List below.
Prior to attaching “NOEL” to the card front with Dimensionals, I attached two pine branches and berries to the back of the square. The branches were cut with a Joy of Noel Die from Thick Basic White Cardstock. The berries were fussy cut from Winter Meadow DSP, and the only reason this card wasn’t “quick & easy.”

This week’s Global Design Project is a fun, sketch challenge.
I began by creating a template of the four squares with a Stylish Shapes Die and scrap paper. After cutting the squares from scrap paper, 4″ X 5″, I placed the template on top of Meandering Meadows Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and repeated cutting the squares.

Four Squares Design
After cutting, I glued the designer paper, with the four “holes,” on an Orchid Oasis card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Next, I layered the “cut-out” squares on cardstock for thickness, and attached them to the “holes” with Dimensionals.
“Happy Birthday” is from the Garden Meadow Stamp Set. It was stamped in Orchid Oasis Ink on Meandering Meadows DSP. After stamping, I used a Stylish Shapes Die for cutting, layered it for thickness, and attached it with Dimensionals.
The final touch was adding three, Brushed Brass Butterflies. The butterflies are my gift for the month of November. See below how you can make them yours!

I began by fussy cutting birds from one of the patterns of Flight & Airy DSP, choosing two look-alikes that were facing the opposite direction.
For the background, I used a large, Gorgeous Garden Die to cut Flight & Airy Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, shown in the first photo. This was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. The birds were nestled among the leaves with glue and Dimensionals.
“So thankful for you” is from the So Sincere Stamp Set, a great sentiment set that is carrying over. Yay! It isn’t retiring! You can see all of the sentiments in my Product List below.
I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, used a Scalloped Contours Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
The last detail was adding a few 2022-2024 Matte Decorative Dots.

Prior to gluing, I used a Basics 3D Embossing Folder to give it texture.
Next, I used the 6th largest Deckled Circles Die to cut Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty Paper. This was layered with Earthen Elegance Designer paper, cut with the 7th largest Deckled Circles Die. Prior to gluing, I stamped “O Holy Night” in VersaMark on the circle, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and set it with the Heat Tool.
The nativity scene was cut with a Night Divine Die from Earthen Elegance Designer Paper, and layered on Pretty Peacock Cardstock for thickness. I love the detail in this die set!
The last step was placing a star, cut from the Dry Brushed Metallic Paper.
