Let’s put a spotlight on the Meandering Meadows Designer Paper, literally! This paper is so pretty, and was first available to customers, in “online exclusives,” November 7th. Clicking on the pictures in my Product List below, will take you to my store for ordering.
I began today’s design with Meandering Meadows DSP, 5 1/4″ X 4″. Then, I used a 2″ Circle Punch, also found in “online exclusives,” to punch two and a half circles from the designer paper.

Spotlighting Meandering Meadows
Next, I used a Stylish Shapes Die, a bit larger than the 2″ Circle Punch, and cut three circles from Highland Heather Cardstock. After gluing the two and a half circles of DSP to the Highland Heather Circles, I trimmed the half circle to size.
Before attaching the “spotlights” with Dimensionals, I glued the Meandering Meadows Designer Paper to a Highland Heather card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“Thinking of you” Is from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set. I stamped it in Highland Heather Ink on the designer paper, used its Wonderful Thoughts Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
I had fun using this “spotlight” technique to add an unusual dimension to the Meandering Meadows Designer Paper.

Today’s card began with Tweet from the Fluffiest Friends Stamp Set. After stamping her in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, I used her Fluffiest Friends Die for cutting. Then, Tweet asked to be colored with Boho Blue Stampin’ Blends, and Pecan Pie for her beak.

Tweet wanted to be surrounded with beautiful Moody Mauve branches, and chose one from the Nature’s Prints Stamp Set. She has been flying around the new online exclusives, and and discovered a wonderful arch in Garden Meadows, so I used that to cut the Basic White Cardstock.
For the background, Tweet wanted a Pecan Pie, wood pattern, from Meandering Meadows Designer Paper. She said I could make it look even better by embossing it with the Timber Embossing Folder. And, she chose a Boho Blue card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, to match her feathers.

Tweet loves sending birthday cards, and found the perfect “happy birthday!” in the Garden Meadows Stamp Set. I stamped it in Pecan Pie Ink, and used a Sending Die for cutting. Tweet was very happy to perch on the greeting, but she had one, last request. She asked for three, beautiful, Iridescent Rhinestones to make it sparkle.

I was inspired by TGIF.

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Home for the Holidays. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Everyone needs gift card holders for the Holidays! This year, I’m using Scalloped Gift Card Boxes, because they are sturdy, easy to make, and fun to decorate.

Scalloped Gift Card Boxes
The boxes come 10 in a pack, and the tilt-up card holder sold me. To assemble, I folded all the score lines, then folded and notched one side at a time, and folded the front last.

The tilt-up card holder fits neatly inside, displaying the gift card beautifully. Isn’t it cute?

I used Traditions of Saint Nick to decorate five of the boxes. The top is 4″ X 2 3/4″, the front and back strips are 4″ X 3/4″, and the two sides are 2 3/4″ X 3/4″.

Joy Of Christmas Designer Paper was used to decorate the other five boxes.

For the tags, I used two Saint Nicholas Dies to cut Saint Nick from the Designer Paper, backed him with Basic White Cardstock, and punched a hole for the tie. I also used a Tailored Tags Die to cut the Joy Of Christmas DSP, backed with Basic White Cardstock, and added a deer, cut with a Grove Die.
I stamped “to” and “from” on the back of the tags with a Joy Of Noel stamp, and Mossy Meadow Ink.

My Scalloped Gift Card Boxes are ready for gift cards, and wrapping with Real Red Ribbon and Linen Thread.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month, when our theme will be Winter Wonderland.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Brand new “online exclusives” are available today, and Meandering Meadows Designer Paper is one of my favorites! The landscapes are gorgeous, and beautiful cards can be created in minutes.

For today’s card, I paired the Meandering Meadows Designer Paper with the Crafting With You Bundle for a plein-air painting scene.

Plein-Air Painting
First, I stamped the easel, from the Crafting With You Stamp Set, in Crumb Cake Ink on Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used its Crafting With You Die for cutting.
Next, I stamped the easel in the center of the 4″ X 5 1/4″ Meandering Meadows DSP, and used its Crafting With You Die for cutting. Then, using the “paper piecing” technique, I cut the “painting” from the stamped easel, and glued it to the Crumb Cake/White easel.
Once the “painting” was in place, I glued the easel legs back in the hole, and attached the top portion of the easel with Dimensionals.
“You inspire me” is from the Crafting With You Stamp Set, stamped in Highland Heather Ink, in the clouds.

It’s that time of year, and this week’s Global Design Project is a theme: ‘Tis the season.
Christmas trees are a favorite image on holiday cards, and the Forever Forest Stamp Set has wonderful trees. I began by stamping the row of trees, two times, across Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″. Three ink colors were used: Shaded Spruce Garden Green, and Granny Apple Green.
After stamping, I used the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder for texture. Then, I glued the layer to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Christmas Forest
Next, I wanted to say “Merry Christmas” in a special way. It’s been way too long since I’ve used the Alphabest Stamp Set, and today I put this fun set to use! I stamped the letters, “m-e-r-r-y” in Real Red Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used one of the outline stamps for added detail, and cut the letters using the Best Label Punch. After placing Dimensionals on the letters, I attached them to the card front.

I found the right size “Christmas” in the Christmas Classics Stamp Set, and stamped it in Real Red Ink on Basic White Cardstock. There is a die in the Cheerful Daisies Die Set that is the same shape as the Best Label Punch, and the perfect size for cutting “Christmas.”
After attaching “Christmas” with Dimensionals, there was one last detail; painting the trees with the Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush. It really sparkles in person. I noticed it was on the “low inventory” list, so don’t wait to order, if you want it soon.

Be inspired by our designers, then create a holiday card, and hang it in our gallery.

Get ready to order the Garden Meadow Bundle, and Meandering Meadows Designer Paper! It’s an online exclusive, available November 7, and you’re going to want it!
Today’s card was made in minutes. I began with a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, topped with a layer of Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. Prior to gluing the layer, I used a Garden Meadow Die to cut the arch. Don’t you love the detailed lines surrounding it? Then, I used the same die to cut Meandering Meadows Designer Paper, and glued it in the hole.

Garden Meadow Thank You
The fence was cut with a Garden Meadow Die from Thick Basic White Cardstock, and glued in place.
“Thanks” is from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set, stamped in Shaded Spruce Ink, cut with its Wonderful Thoughts Die, and glued to the fence. Simple, huh?

Here’s a look at the stamp set and dies. All of the images in the stamp set have dies for cutting. YAY!
I’ll be attaching links to my store for ordering as early as I can on the 7th. But, you can always hit my “shop” button, and look for “online exclusives.” I wouldn’t wait to order this, because I anticipate it being very popular.

I’m sharing with The Paper Players.
