Who loves Candy Corn? I do! Even if this Halloween candy isn’t your favorite, you have to like “paper” Candy Corn! This Candy Corn was created with an image from the Taco Fiesta Stamp Set. By stamping the tortilla chips in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and coloring them with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends, I turned the chips into candy. Please overlook the black dots:)

Candy Corn
Once the candy was made, I wanted to spell the word, “candy,” which I was able to do with the Alphabet a la Mode Dies. I cut a piece of Pumpkin Pie Designer Paper, and attached it to an equal size of Foam Adhesive Sheet, 3 1/4″ X 1 3/4″. Then, I placed the letters on top of the designer paper, and rolled it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I put it through the machine an additional time, upside down, to make sure it was a good cut. The backing was left on the letters until they were ready to be placed on the card front. I positioned a ruler along the bottom to keep the letters straight.

For the background, I used the largest Scalloped Contours Die to cut Basic White Cardstock, and glued this to a Daffodil Delight card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Prior to gluing the layer, I gave it texture with a Basics 3D Embossing Folder, available in Online Exclusives.

The sentiment, “just for you,” is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, used its Sentiment Silhouettes Die for cutting, and attached it with Mini Dimensionals. After attaching the Candy Corn with Mini Dimensionals, my Halloween card was complete.

I was inspired by TGIF.

It was one of those days, when my card did not turn out as intended. I wanted to share some fabulous, miniature, crafting supplies, but Hanna the Hedgehog insisted on being included. She is one of the many animals from Zoo Crew Designer Paper, and said her artistic talent needed to be expressed. I agreed, but only if I could present the Crafting With You Bundle as originally planned.
I began with a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, topped with Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Deckled Rectangles Die, and attached with Dimensionals.

Hanna the Hedgehog
Now, I have to talk about the miniature scissors, because they are the cutest! I cut them from Silver Foil and Basic Black Cardstock, then snipped the black piece for the handle, and glued it on top of the silver portion. A small dot of silver was placed in the hole for the hinge.
Hanna wanted me to use the miniature scissors to cut her from the designer paper, but I explained, as realistic as they appeared to be, I would have to use the regular size.

Next, I used a Crafting With You Die to cut the paper trimmer from Pebbled Path Cardstock. Hanna thought we should show it cutting a pattern of Petal Pink Designer Paper (1 1/4″ X 2 1/2″) in order to match the heart she was painting.
Plus, she wanted to stand on something, and after debating for a while, we agreed the ruler was the best option.

Prior to attaching everything, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink. “Life is better when you’re crafting” is from the Crafting With You Stamp Set, and Hanna said this is very true!
Hanna’s last request was to add Petal Pink hearts, cut with a Crafting with You Die. Do you think she likes hearts?

Today’s thank you card began with a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Next, I cut a 4″ X 5 1/4″ piece of Thick Basic White Cardstock, and embossed it with the Cane Weave Embossing Folder. After embossing, I cut in into four sections, 4″ X 1 1/4″. Then, “eyeballing,” I glued the sections to the card front.

Arrangement on Cane Weave
The flowers and foliage were cut with two Timeless Arrangements Dies. I love how the “bars” on the dies make gluing these to the sentiment label so easy!
The brightly colored, Masterfully Made Designer Paper was used for the flowers and foliage, giving variation in color. Check it out in my Product List below.

The sentiment, “thank you,” is from the Timeless Arrangements Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink, and cut with its Timeless Arrangements Die. After gluing the flowers and foliage to the back, I attached the sentiment label to the card front with Dimensionals.
The last detail was adding a self-adhesive, Brushed Brass Butterfly.

The Traditions of Saint Nick Designer Paper is fabulous! The Santas make perfect gift tags, easily cut with with a coordinating die from the Saint Nicholas Die Set.

Santa Gift Tag
Look at all the Santas from one piece of designer paper! The Santas are 3 1/2″ to 3 3/4″ tall.

After cutting the Santa, I used the same die to cut Basic White Cardstock, and glued it to the backside. This made the perfect place to stamp “To” and “From” in Mossy Meadow Ink, which I found in the Joy Of Noel Stamp Set.
I used a retired 1/16″ Stampin’ Up! Punch to make the tiny hole, which I tied with Linen Thread, and it’s ready for a gift. I told you it was easy!
The bundles are in my Product List below, because you’ll want the stamp sets and the dies, especially since you get a 10% savings with a bundle.

When I saw the colors for this week’s Global Design Project, I knew I’d be making a Halloween card.

BOO!
To spell the word “BOO,” I stamped a wreath, from the Cottage Wreaths Stamp Set, in Cajun Craze Ink on Basic White Cardstock, two times. Then, I used its Country Wreaths Die for cutting.
Next, I used the “B” from the Alphabet a la Mode Die Set to cut the letter from Cajun Craze Cardstock. To give the “B” dimension, I adhered the cardstock to an Adhesive Foam Sheet, before running the die through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4 1/2″ X 2 1/2″, layered on Zoo Crew Designer Paper, 1/8″ larger, giving a 1/16″ border. This was glued to a Basic Black card base. Prior to gluing, I stamped two spiders in Memento Black Ink, and I gave the card base “bubbled” texture with a Basics 3D Embossing Folder.
The “scary” spider is from the Cottage Wreaths Stamp Set, and I stamped a third one, which I cut with its Country Wreaths Die, and glued it off the edge.
The Pumpkin Pie bow was cut with a Country Wreaths Die from a retired scrap of designer paper. Don’t you love this bow?

Here are the colors you can use to design your card. We’d love to see it hanging in our gallery!

I love trees on Christmas cards, and today’s design is a simple, square card. The card base is Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 4 1/4″, folded at 4 1/4″, embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder. The square in the center is Thick Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest, square, Stylish Shapes Die, and attached with Dimensionals.
The three, wonderful trees, were fussy cut from Traditions Of Saint Nick Designer Paper. I’ve talked about this paper for the last two days, so you probably guessed, it’s a favorite! After cutting the trees, I placed them on Dimensionals.

Three Christmas Trees
The sky behind the tress looks like watercoloring, doesn’t it? It was created by stamping in Lost Lagoon Ink with a Cheers To The Season stamp. I stamped three times, starting at the bottom and moving up, without re-inking. This gives the graduated color.

The sentiment, “Many Merry Thoughts & Wishes,” is from the Saint Nicholas Stamp Set. I stamped it in Mossy Meadow Ink, used a Sending Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
For a little embellishment, I added three Iridescent Pearls, and my simple, square card was complete.

I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.
