Huge balloons, flying high in the sky, wishing the recipient a Happy Birthday. “Happy Birthday ” was created with Wanted To Say Dies, Thick Basic White Cardstock for the words, and backed with Basic White Cardstock that was colored with a Blending Brush and Misty Moonlight Ink. The backing allows the words to be raised on Dimensionals.
Balloons in the sky
This design idea began with the blue balloons in the corners, inspired by a card sketch. To create the balloons, I made a stencil with the largest, Stylish Shapes circle die, and used a Blending Brush to smooth on Misty Moonlight Ink.
The card base is Boho Blue Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, layered with Basic White Cardstock, 4 ” X 5 1/4″.
Next, I stamped balloons, from the Beautiful Balloons Stamp Set, in Parakeet Party Ink. Then, I added Clouds, using Waves Dies to cut Thick Basic White Cardstock, attached with Dimensionals.
To complete the sky, I stamped two birds, from the Waves Of Inspiration Stamp Set, in Night Of Navy Ink. The final touch was three, 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots.

Hippo, Lamb, and Kitty are dancing in the summertime! After using my Paper Snips to cut them from their Zoo Crew Designer Paper, I colored Lamb’s and Kitty’s flowers with Pool Party and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends. Hippo’s flower was already colored, and they wanted to be as colorful as she was.
Dancing Trio
The dancers asked for a sunny background, and we found the Lemon Lolly stripe in Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper. I cut it to 5 1/4″ X 4″,. and glued it to a Lemon Lolly card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
But, that wasn’t enough! They wanted to dance on a “hill.” I remembered a wonderful, curved, die in the Elegant Borders Die Set, and used it to cut Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 2 1/4″. This beautiful “hill” made Hippo, Lamb, and Kitty very happy!
The die set isn’t in the catalog, because it’s an online exclusive. Clicking on its picture in my Product List will take you there.
To complete the card, we needed a sentiment. The dancing trio wanted to say something about smiling, and agreed that, “every thought of you makes me smile,” was perfect. It’s from the Textured Floral Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink.

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Punch Your Art Out. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Peter, the Easter Bunny Punch, has been sitting idle for a while now, and said he didn’t want to wait until it was time to make Easter cards. He said he is a “unique” rabbit, and would make a perfectly good “snow bunny,” if I cut him from Earthen Elegance Designer Paper. What do you think?
He also wanted me to decorate his envelope with another pattern of Earthen Elegance Designer Paper to match his fur. It was easy to cut a section, 5 3/4″ X 2 1/2″, glue it to the flap, and trim the excess with Paper Snips while using the flap as a template.
Peter the Snow Bunny
To further prove his worthiness, he asked to have a beautiful background of snow, pine needles and pinecones. We found the perfect die in the Christmas Pinecone Die Set, cut it from Basic White Cardstock, and glued it to Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. This was glued to a Pecan Pie card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Peter had been sitting next to the Double Oval Punch, which encouraged him to speak up. So, Peter returned the favor by requesting the Double Oval Punch be used for the sentiment.
The sentiment, ” ‘Tis the season,” is from the Brightest Glow Stamp Set, stamped in Mossy Meadow on Basic White Cardstock, and punched with the plain oval. The scalloped oval was punched from Basic White Cardstock, also, and attached with Dimensionals.
For a touch of red and green, I stamped some pine and berries from the Cottage Wreaths Stamp Set. The pine is Mossy Meadow, and the berries, Cherry Cobbler, cut with Country Wreaths Dies, and glued to the sentiment.
The big question is, how do you catch a “unique” rabbit? Unique up on it. (my husband’s joke).

We can’t forget about the Translucent Floral Bundle, the early release available to Demonstrators who participated in Creativity Now on June 24th. It’s still one of my favorites from the upcoming, 2023 September-December Mini Catalog, available September 6th. You’re going to love stamping the images, because they are just beautiful!
I stamped the leaves, for today’s card, in Parakeet Party Ink, the flowers in Bubble Bath Ink, and the sprigs in Blueberry Bushel Ink on Basic White Cardstock.
Translucent Florals with stenciled background
After stamping, I used the Translucent Floral Dies for cutting, and placed them on Dimensionals.
The background was created with an Artistic Mix Decorative Mask, Blueberry Bushel Ink, and a Blending Brush. I secured the mask, with painters tape, on top of Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and smoothed on the ink with a Blending Brush. Then, I glued this layer to a Blueberry Bushel card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The sentiment, “congratulations,” is from the Translucent Floral Stamp Set. I stamped it in Blueberry Bushel Ink, used a Stylish Shapes Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
As a final touch, I added three Tinsel Gems, which happen to be my Host Code Gift for August. See the details below.

This weeks Global Design Project is a fun sketch. See how our designers used the sketch, then create your own design, and hang it in our gallery.
I began with a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, layered with Fresh As a Daisy Designer Paper in Boho Blue, 5 1/4″ X 4″. The next layer is Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper in Copper Clay, 5 1/4″ X 2 1/2. The top layer is patterned, Fresh As A daisy Designer Paper, 4 1/2″ X 3 1/4″, bordered with Copper Clay, 3 5/8″ X 4 5/8″.
Prior to gluing the layers together, I used a Basics 3D Embossing Folder to give texture to the patterned daisies. Dots make me happy!
This dotted embossing folder is not in the catalog, but is an Online Exclusive in a package of three embossing folders. You can see the details in my Product List below.
To make the garden of daisies come alive, I added two butterflies from the Meadow Dies Set. The entire die set is wonderful, and I love the butterflies, simply die-cut from Basic White Cardstock. Can you see the impressions on the wings?

To complete the sketch, I used a sentiment from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set. I stamped, “sunshine to brighten your day,” in Copper Clay Ink, used a Sending Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.

Today’s card features a Boho Blue truck from the Trucking Along Stamp Set, a great set for masculine cards. Stampin’ Up! introduced the Trucking Along Stamp Set and Punch in Online Exclusives, and it sold out the first day. The good news is, the stamp set is available now, and the punch will be available, again, mid October.
Trucking with Balloons
The balloons were cut from Basic White Cardstock with a Beautiful Balloons Die, and colored with Stampin’ Blends in three colors: Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath, and Pool Party. They were tied with string from the Beautiful Balloons Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink.
The huge balloons wouldn’t fit in the cab, so the truck driver had to let them fly out the back.
Ultimately, the driver had to park his car along the road, so he could recover a runaway balloon that was stuck in a tree.
The trees were cut with a Grove Die from Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper 5 1/4″ X 4″, and glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The truck is parked on top of “happy birthday,” a sentiment from the Waves Of Inspiration Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used a Sending Die for cutting.
I attached the truck and sentiment with Dimensionals, and the driver completed his delivery thereafter.
