Isn’t this rhino cute? He’s so happy to be prancing along with a little bird on his back! He is from the Rhino Ready Stamp Set, available in Online Exclusives. Clicking the picture in my Product List below will take you there.
I stamped him in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and colored him with a Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend. The little bird was colored with a Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend.
Tropical Leaf & Rhino
The leaves behind them were created with the Tropical Leaf Bundle, also Online Exclusives. I punched the leaves from Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper, which is discounted 15% for the month of June. You can see all of the sale paper below. After punching, I stamped the leaves with Lemon Lime Ink, using a Tropical Leaf Stamp for the veins.
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, given a border with the second largest Stitched With Whimsy Die. This was layered on a Smoky Slate card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
“It’s a great day” is from the Rhino Ready Stamp Set. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink, used a Cheerful Daisies Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
My card was embellished with 2022-2024 In Color Matte Dots.

Todays’ card shows that Earthen Textures is pretty in pink! I set the stage with a diagonal background. I used one of the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folders on Basic White Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5″.
Earthen Textures in pink!
These are the narrow embossing folders, and the only ones that would fit this way to go through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. The white cardstock is a perfect fit, and couldn’t be any larger.
After embossing, I glued the white layer to Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper in a diagonal stripe 4 1/8″ X 5 3/8″, and both layers to a Fresh Freesia card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Next, I used an Earthen Textures Dies to cut the pot and foliage. The foliage was cut from Bubble Bath Cardstock, and the pot was cut from Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper. I backed the pot with cardstock for thickness, gave it texture with the die in the picture, and placed it on Dimensionals. After adding Dimensionals to the foliage, I attached both to the card front.
“Hello” is from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink.

I’m welcoming June with new colors: Bubble Bath, Moody Mauve and Copper Clay. Aren’t they pretty together?

Daisy & Dots
I began today’s card with a Moody Mauve card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, layered with Basic White Cardstock, 4 ” X 5 1/4″. Prior to gluing the layer, I colored it with a Dots & Spots die-cut stencil, Bubble Bath Ink and a Blending Brush.
Next, I cut the vertical panel from Fresh As A Daisy DSP in Copper Clay, 4″ X 2″, topped with Basic White Cardstock, cut 1/8″ smaller. After gluing them together, I embossed it with a Basics 3D Embossing Folder, and glued it to the card front.
The horizontal panel, 4″ X 1 1/4″, was cut from Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper, also discounted 15%. I layered it on cardstock for thickness, embossed it with one of the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folders, attached it with Dimensionals, and added the fussy-cut daisy on Dimensionals.
“Faith over fear” is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set, stamped in Copper Clay Ink, cut with its Sentiment Silhouettes Die, and attached with Dimensionals.
As a final touch, I used a Cheerful Daisies Die to cut the branch from Fresh As A Daisy DSP, and tucked it behind the daisy. I also added three Self-Adhesive Pastel Sequins.

Have you tried “heat embossing” on designer paper? That’s the technique I used for today’s card, featuring Cheerful Daisies. First, I cut a piece of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″. Second, I chose a flower stamp from the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set; the one with solid petals, along with the flower center, and the single leaf.
Heat Embossed Daisies
Next, I stamped the two flowers in VersaMark, sprinkled them with White Embossing Powder, and set them with the Heat Tool. It’s difficult to see the VersaMark on the designer paper, unless you angle it toward the light, so I was careful with my placement.
Once the flowers were set, I added the flower centers and leaves by stamping in VersaMark, and sprinkling with Gold Embossing Powder. For those who haven’t done this before, after you sprinkle, you tap the loose powder into a container to be gathered and used again.
The sentiment, “you made my day,” is from the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set. I used the same, “heat embossing” technique on designer paper for stamping, and used a Sending Die for cutting. It was glued with several layers for dimension, without using Dimensionals.
Before gluing my art piece to a Garden Green card base (8 1/2″ X 51 /2″, folded at 4 1/4″), I pressed it under heavy books for a while. The Heat Tool tends to curl the paper.
This angle gives a better view of the little dots I added, with a stamp from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set. You can also see a close-up of one of the Brushed Brass Butterflies. This is a great embellishment, because it’s flat and easy to mail.

For this week’s Global Design Project, we get to CASE (copy and selectively edit) Krista Frattin’s fun card. See how our designers “cased” Krista, then join in the fun, and add your design to our gallery.
Stylish Shapes Dies has wonderful circles, and I used the largest one to cut Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used the Rays Of Light Stamp to stamp it with Daffodil Delight Ink.
Next, I used the same Stylish Shapes circle die to cut Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper. Then, I used the Beautiful Balloons “fringe” die to cut a section that was glued to the bottom of the circle.
Celebrating Frog
“Let’s get our celebration on” is from the Beautiful Balloons Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink. Don’t you love how this sentiment fits a circle? The frog, my focal point, was fussy cut from Zoo Crew Designer Paper, and attached with Dimensionals. He’s one of 30 fun animals on the designer paper, which you can see in my Product List below.
For the background, I created a stencil on Basic White Cardstock (4″ X 5 1/4″) using the Dots & Spots Die. Then, I used a Small Blending Brush and Lemon Lime Twist ink to color the holes. After coloring, I glued it to a Lemon Lime Twist card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Today’s card began with a fun stenciling technique. I used one of the new, Artistic Matte Decorative Masks as a stencil on Very Vanilla Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. With a Blending Brush and Moody Mauve Ink, I smoothed the color over the top of the mask onto the cardstock. Doesn’t it make a pretty pattern? This layer was glued to a Moody Mauve card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
stenciling technique
Next, I cut flower petals from Hello Irresistible Designer Paper, using a Paper Florist Die, and curled the petals with a Bone Folder. Three more Paper Florist Dies were used to cut the flower center and leaves. I used the slice in the eight petals to glue them to a circle, forming a flower. Prior to attaching the flower to the card front, I double stacked Dimensionals beneath it, as well and curling and placing the leaves on Dimensionals.
The sentiment, “love you” was created with Love For You Dies. I cut the script words from Moody Mauve Cardstock, and glued them to background bubbles, cut from Very Vanilla Cardstock. After gluing, they were attached to the card front with Dimensionals.
After adding three Very Vanilla Matte Dots to the center of the flower, my card was complete.
