Who said you can’t create Christmas cards with the Cup Of Tea Bundle? Just stamp the striped tea cup in Real Red Ink, cut it with its die, and away we go! Then, add some pine in the cup, using a Decorated Pines Die and Garden Green Cardstock, and place it on Dimensionals.
Christmas Cup
The center panel is Painted Christmas Designer Paper, 2 1/2″ X 5 3/8″, layered on Garden Green Cardstock, 1/8″ larger, giving a 1/16″ border. The card base is Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, embossed with a Wintry Embossing Folder.
The sentiment is from the Decorated with Happiness Stamp Set, stamped in Garden Green Ink on Basic White Cardstock, 4 1/8″ X 1 1/2″. Prior to attaching it with Dimensionals, I used a Sentiments Silhouettes Die to create the tiny holes across the bottom. Finally, I couldn’t help but add three 2022-2024 In Color Matte Dots that perfectly matched the pink dots in the designer paper.
I was inspired by the Paper Players.

Hello September, and card makers who love dies! Stampin’ Up! is offering six new die sets to coordinate with current stamp sets for the month of September. The promotion is aptly named Perfect Partners, and the dies are available in a bundle with the stamp set, or separately.
Today’s card features a wonderful Apple Blossoms Die, one of my favorites. It was used to cut five blossoms from an August 2022 Paper Pumpkin card base.
Apple Blossom Happiness
I used the same Paper Pumpkin paper to cut a layer, 4″ X 5 1/4″, which I further cut with a Split Card Textures Die. After applying Liquid Glue to the back, I attached the layer to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
This design would work well with numerous designer papers, don’t you think? Or, you could create your own watercolored paper!
The sentiment and label are also from the Paper Pumpkin Kit, but many substitutions could be made. As a final touch, I applied Fine Sparkle Gems to the center of the blossoms.

The slice of lemon is so cute in the Tea Cup Die Set, I wanted to feature it on a card, and ended up with a citrus wreath.
First, I used a Cup Of Tea Stamp to stamp in Parakeet Party Ink, and Daffodil Delight Ink, on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used a Tea Cup Die for cutting the half slices of lemons and limes, and a second Tea Cup Die to cut overlays from matching colors of cardstock.
After placing my six citrus slices on Dimensionals, I decided to arrange them on a wreath, cut with a Natural Prints Die from Granny Apple Green Cardstock.
Citrus Wreath
The background is Basic White Cardstock (4″ X 5 1/4″) given a leafy pattern with the Stitched Greenery Die, and glued to a Thick Basic White card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
“Amazing you” is from the Amazing Thanks Die Set, cut from Basic Black Cardstock for the “bubbles,” and Basic White Cardstock for the “words.” I glued the two together, and attached the sentiment with small bits of Dimensionals.
After adding three, white, Classic Matte Dots, my card was complete.

I’m sad to report that the Sweet Sunflowers Paper Pumpkin is no longer available, but today’s design could use other Designer Paper for the same look. It’s also a reminder to order the future, holiday, Paper Pumpkin kits while they are available. I have the links for subscriptions in my Product List below.
Some of my favorite cards have lots of white, and this is an example, with a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. It’s layered with Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Scalloped Contours Die, and embossed with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder.
Paper Pumpkin alternative #5
Now, for Paper Pumpkin, which I cut from one of the beautiful envelopes in the kit, using the largest, plain, Layering Circles Die. Then, I layered it on Gorgeous Grape Cardstock, cut with the largest, scalloped, Layering Circles Die, and attached it with Dimensionals. The red flowers, a “punch-out” from the kit, was attached with Dimensionals.
The sentiment, “wishing you so much happiness,” is also from the kit. I stamped it in Blackberry Bliss Ink, used the smallest Scalloped Contours Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. A few In Color 2022-2024 Matte Dots were added just for fun.

This week’s Global Design Project is a sketch challenge, and a perfect opportunity for me to show you two, FREE, Sale-a-bration items.
The first Sale-a-bration item is the Rings Of Love Designer Paper. It has a fabulous pattern of homes, which is great for congratulating someone on a new home. The houses can be fussy cut, or cropped with a die, like this Painted Label Die that I used for today’s card. You can see all of the patterns in my Product List below.
New Home
The background was created with the Dots & Spots Die, which is also a FREE Sale-a-bration item. You’ll see the Dots & Spots Die is $32.00 in my Product List below, but it’s $00.00 when you place a $100 order. Sale-a-bration ends in three days, August 31, so don’t delay!
After cutting the holes, I glued the Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, to a Mint Macaron card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
“Congratulations” is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink, cut with its Sentiment Silhouettes Die, and attached with Dimensionals.
To complete the sketch, I added three Iridescent Rhinestones. I love how they go with everything, don’t you?

The Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper has wonderful shades of red and green, and our favorite Christmas flower, the poinsettia.
Todays’ card began with a sketch in mind, and I found two Stitched Rectangle Dies ( approximately 1 3/4″ X 3 3/4″ and 1 1/4″ X 1 3/4″) to cut three rectangles from the designer paper. After layering them with card stock for thickness, I glued them to Basic white Cardstock, 3 1/2″ X 4″. Then, I layered the Basic White Cardstock on Evening Evergreen Cardstock, 1/8″ larger, giving it a 1/16″ border.
Christmas Poinsettias
Prior to gluing, I embossed the card front of the Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, with the Merry Melody Embossing Folder. In order to do this, I couldn’t put it through the Stamp N’ Cut and Emboss Machine fold first, the way you are supposed to, but it worked okay.
To add further interest, I used Paper Snips to hand cut a poinsettia from the Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper, and attached it with Dimensionals.
“Merry Christmas” is from the Regal Reindeer Stamp Set, stamped in Evening Evergreen Ink, cut with the Double Oval Punch, and attached with the Poinsettia on Dimensionals.
