It’s hard to believe, but true!!! The Aspen Trees Dies are one of the additional FREE Sale-a-bration items for the month of August! You can see the entire list below. The dies can be used in so many ways, but today I’ve created a Thanksgiving card. The Aspen Trees Die was used to cut the large oval from Thick Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″.
Aspen Trees Thanksgiving
Next, I cut a pattern of Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper to glue behind the trees, and this was glued to a Gray Granite card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. I cut the designer paper 1/16″ smaller, so it wouldn’t be visible around the edges.
The leaves were cut with another Aspen Trees Die from Brushed Metallic Cardstock, and attached with Dimensionals. Don’t you love the veins in the die? And, you’ll also love that the Brushed Metallic Cardstock is yet another Free Sale-a-bration item!
The sentiment is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set, and cut with its Sentiment Silhouettes Die. To go with the metallic leaves, I heat embossed “beyond grateful” with Gold Embossing Powder.

The Dots & Spots Die can add interest to any background, and guess what…..it’s a FREE Sale-a-bration item for the month of August! For today’s card, I used it with Basic White Carstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, which I glued to a Pear Pizzazz card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Dots & Spots
Next, I added a strip of Wonderful World Designer Paper, 1 1/2″ X 5 1/4″, and yellow flowers cut from another pattern of Wonderful World Designer Paper. This paper is gorgeous, and also a FREE item you can select during Sale-a-bration the month of August.
“Wishing you the happiest of birthdays” is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set, stamped in Evening Evergreen Ink, and cut with its Sentiments Silhouettes Die. After attaching the sentiment with Dimensionals, my clean & simple card was complete.

This month, the theme is Seasons’ Greetings. This month’s design team members showcase projects inspired by their favorite seasonal time of the year. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. Jerome the gnome said it was about time I made a Christmas card, and he asked to bring along a couple of friends! In order to accommodate his buddies, I decided to make a slimline card. This was easily accomplished with a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 7″, folded at 3 1/2″. And, the great news is, Stampin’ Up! has ready-made Slimline Envelopes that fit this size perfectly. You can check them out in my Product List below.
Jerome’s Slimline Card
First, to make Jerome and friends, I used Gnomes Dies to cut their cut their beards from Basic White Cardstock, and their pants & shoes from Real Red Cardstock. Their noses were cut from Basic White Cardstock, that I colored with an Ivory Stampin’ Blend, and their hats were cut from three patterns of Painted Christmas Designer Paper. Can you guess which one is Jerome? (hint: he wanted to be in the middle).
Before attaching the gnomes with Dimensionals, I created the background with Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/4″ X 3 1/4″, and the Decorated With Happiness Stamp Set. I stamped the branch in Evening Evergreen and Garden Green, and used the “two-step” stamp for coloring in a lighter shade.
“Boughs of jolly” is from the Decorated With Happiness Stamp Set, stamped in Evening Evergreen Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and cut with a Stylish Shapes Die. Jerome said I should hang it from the bough with a Decorated Pines Die, cut from Real Red Cardstock. I liked his idea!
While the supplies were in front of me, I completed the inside by stamping the boughs, and “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.” The sentiment is from the Kindest Gnomes Stamp Set, stamped in Real Red Ink, and cut with a Potted Succulents Die.
Jerome was pleased with his card, but asked to be moved to the end, next to the sentiment. I said he could swap hats, so I guess we’ll never know what he decided.

You are in for a surprise, come September! The Birthday Piggy Stamp Set from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog will have a set of Playful Piggy Dies that you can order separately, or in a bundle. Today’s birthday card uses just one of the 18 dies.
Isn’t this pig adorable? I stamped her in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used her Playful Piggy Die for cutting. Then, I colored her with Stampin’ Blends in Petal Pink and Crumb Cake, and her flowers in Polished Pink, Parakeet Party, and Daffodil Delight.
Weeee!
For her background, I used the third largest Scalloped Contours Die to cut Basic White Cardstock. This was attached with Dimensionals to Petal Pink, Subtles 6″X6″ Designer Paper, cut with the largest Scalloped Contours Die. Both were glued to a Crumb Cake card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Prior to attaching, I stamped “Weeee!” and “it’s your birthday” in Crumb Cake Ink, provided by This Birthday Piggy Stamp Set.
The Playful Piggy Dies are not in a catalog, and will only be available as long as supplies last. The bundle is #162521, and the dies #160254, which can be purchased in September during the Perfect Partners Promotion. The stamp set, #159107, can be seen in my Product List below, and purchased now.

This week’s Global Design Project is “animals,” so I created with my favorite animals of the season from the Regal Reindeer Bundle. The reindeer and bunny are encircled in a garland of Cottage Gingham Designer Paper, cut with an Eden Die.
Christmas Friends
I stamped the reindeer and bunny in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and cut them with their Reindeer Dies. Then I used Stampin’ Blends for coloring in four colors: Crumb Cake, Real Red, Bronze, and Gray Granite.
Before attaching the animals with Dimensionals, I completed the card base of Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. First, I stamped “Merry Christmas” in Real Red Ink, the lines in the snow with Memento Black Ink, and glued the garland in place.
Last, I stamped the stars in Garden Green Ink, and added a Brushed Metallic Cardstock star, cut with a Reindeer Die.

The Flowers Of Home Dies are now a FREE Sale-a-bration item for the month of August, and two of the die-cuts are featured on today’s card.
Framed Blessing
I began with a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, layered with Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. Prior to gluing the layer, I gave it texture with the Gingham Embossing Folder. This embossing folder is also an additional Sale-a-bration item for the month of August. You can see the complete list of additional SAB items below.
Next, I cut the Flowers Of Home, curved, branch from three colors of cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, and Pumpkin Pie.
I was inspired by TGIF.
After cutting the branches, I wanted the flowers to be a lighter shade, so colored Basic White Cardstock with Light Stampin’ Blends. I also wanted the flowers to have dimension, and used a Foam Adhesive Sheet, 1″ X 4 1/2″, to achieve this. The Flowers Of Home die cuts three flowers at the same time, making this an easy solution.
The sentiment is from the Blessings Of Home Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After stamping “You are a real blessing to everyone around you,” I used a Fabulous Frames Die for cutting, and glued it in the center of the card front. You can see the other frames in the set by clicking on the picture in my Product List below.
