Wow! The Beauty Of The Earth Designer Paper is fabulous! It made this sympathy card come together very easily. And, it was perfect for a masculine touch.

Masculine Sympathy Card
I began with a Crumb Cake card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I glued a layer of “artsy” Beauty Of The Earth Designer Paper to the front, 4 1/4″ X 5 1/4″.

Next, I stamped “with deepest sympathy,” from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set, in Crumb Cake Ink on Basic White Cardstock. I found that the Everyday Punch was the perfect size for cutting the sentiment.

To add a bit more detail, I used one of the Beautiful Trees Dies, the darling, little, birds, to cut from Basic White Cardstock. There are two birds that face in either direction, which will come in handy. I colored just one with a Sponge Dauber and Misty Moonlight Ink. See how his wing lifts? So cute!
The bird needed a perch, so I cut a limb from Crumb Cake Cardstock, using a Birds & More Die. That’s it, my card was complete!

My layout was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.

Let’s see what’s in store for June.

I find myself playing with the Pansy Patch Bundle again, but this time I’m using the stamps for 3-step stamping. Follow along, and you’ll see what I mean.
Beginning with a background of Basic White Cardstock (4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″), I used the largest Scalloped Contours Die to give it a pretty border. Prior to cutting, I glued a strip of Pansy Petals Designer Paper in Soft Succulent gingham (1 1/4″ X 5 1/2″). Notice that I started with paper the size of the card front, so it could be cut down with the Scalloped Contours Die.

3-Step Stamped Pansies
Next, I embossed my background with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, and glued it to a Soft Succulent card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Now, for the pansies. I used three colors of ink: Polished Pink, Highland Heather, and Fresh Freesia. Looking at the Pansy Patch Stamp Set cover, I stamped the three images, as shown on the bottom row, left to right. I stamped off the first stamp to make it lighter, followed by the second and third stamps at full strength.
The stamps are photopolymer, so you can see through them, to stamp one image on top of the next. 3-step stamping is cool, huh?

After stamping the pansies, I used a Pansy Die for cutting. The shape of the flower is simple, and the die was easy to match. Then, I attached the three pansies to the card front, and cut three leaves from Soft Succulent Cardstock, which I glued beneath the flowers.

I found a small “hello” in the Sweet As A Peach Stamp Set, and used the smallest Stitched So Sweetly Die for cutting. For a final touch, I placed a Metallic Pearl at the center of each pansy.

I was inspired by the sketch, soft colors, and “hello” (on the desk) at Fusion.

This fish is amazing, and caught my eye the first time I looked through the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog, page 12. I thought it would be beautiful in our Rainbow Glimmer Paper, so that’s what I used for cutting with its Sea Life Die. Interestingly, the die doesn’t cut the fish completely, but it was easy to snip free. This is my first time for using it, so maybe I will find out later the reasoning for its design.

Rainbow Glimmer Fish
I wanted the fish to stand out against white, so I used the largest Layering Circles Die to cut a circle from Basic White Cardstock. I glued the head and body of the fish to the circle, leaving its fins free. The durability of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper made this a great choice for the fish.

Next, I added water with a piece of Sand & Sea Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and cut a hole in it, using the largest Layering Circles Die. Then, I glued this to a Night Of Navy card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″), and glued the white circle inside the hole.
Prior to gluing, I stamped the bubbles and “thank you” in Night of Navy Ink; both from the Seascape Stamp Set.

Finally, I added the coral, created by using a Sea Life Die to cut from a red section of Sand & Sea Designer Paper.

Tic Tac Toe challenges are fun, and I chose the middle row down; circle, red, DSP. The diagonal row down would also work; blue, red, white.

Let’s see what’s in store for June.

For today’s card, I had fun heat embossing flowers, and coloring them with Stampin’ Blends.
First, I stamped the flower from the Color & Contour Stamp Set in VersaMark on Basic White Cardstock. Next, I sprinkled the three flowers with White Embossing Powder, and set them with the Heat Tool. You can tell when they are set, because the dull powder becomes shiny. Then, I used a Scalloped Contours Die for cutting, which was the hardest part.
A tip is to stamp the flowers in the same direction, and once you match the die to the petals, keep the die that way to cut all the flowers.

Heat Embossed Flowers
Second, I colored the flowers with Stampin’ Blends in three colors: Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Flirty Flamingo. I used the light Stampin’ Blend for the petals, and the dark Stampin’ Blend for the centers. This is especially fun, because the embossing gives a raised edge, and the color just melts to the lines.

For the background, I used a piece of the new, Pattern Party Designer Paper. You’ll find it in the back of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog, on the Host & Earn pages, 170-71. You get 48 sheets for $18.00 ($30.00 value) with a qualifying order.
I cut a 5 1/2″ X 1 1/2″ piece of the colorful stripe, and used a Scalloped Contours Die to trim the edge. Then, I glued it to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Prior to attaching the flowers with Dimensionals, I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink. “So very happy for you” is from the Color & Contour Stamp Set.
The last detail was adding three Artistry Bloom Adhesive-Backed Sequins, which happens to be my host code gift for the month of June. These are great, because no glue is required, just lift and stick!
I would love to send them to you, so see details below for how you qualify to receive them.

I was inspired by TGIF.

Artistic Die-Cut
I began, as I often do, with a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I cut a layer of Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and an additional cut, on the right side, with a Scalloped Contours Die.
After cutting, I embossed it with the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder.
Before gluing the layer to the card base, I glued a 1/4″ strip of black & white, True Love Designer Paper, on the left side, leaving 1/8″ showing.

The stage was set for my focal point, cut with an Artistic Die from Expressions In Ink Designer Paper. I photographed it on top of the pattern I used for cutting. Now, you can see how it was easily colored.

And, gluing the intricate die-cut was easy also, using the Silicone Craft Sheet method. I added a spot of glue to the Silicone sheet, rubbed the sponge in the glue, and blotted the backside of the die-cut. Just be careful not to move it while blotting (as with a stencil) to avoid getting glue on the front.
You can see the design of glue from the die-cut, which was washed clean with water.

The sentiment, “best wishes’ is from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set, stamped in Stazon Ink, and cut with a Potted Succulents Die. Doesn’t the label fit the words perfectly?

Let’s see what’s in store for June.
