The silhouette of this swinging girl brings back wonderful childhood memories. She is from the Silhouette Scenes Stamp Set, which you can see in my Product List below.
Swinging
Today’s Step-by-Step Instructions:
Cut Just Jade Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, fold in the middle at 4 1/4″ to make your card base.
Trim Forever Greenery Designer Paper to 4″ X 5 1/4″, and use the Birds & More Die to cut the leafy circle in the middle. I positioned it a little toward the top, leaving room for the sentiment.
Cut regular weight, Whisper White Cardstock to 4″ X 5 1/4″. Place on the Stamparatus with the Designer Paper on top. This allows you to position the swinging girl. Press the stamp to the lid, remove the Designer Paper, ink the stamp with Memento Black Ink, and press to the white paper. This may only make sense if you are familiar with a Stamparatus. You can check it out in my Product List.
Glue the two papers together, leaving the leafy portion free. Then, use the second largest Stitched Rectangles Die for cutting, and glue to the card base. This gives a nice, finished border.
“Keep dreaming” is from the Silhouette Scenes Stamp Set. Stamp it in Just Jade Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, and cut with an Ornate Frames Die. Attach with four Mini Dimensionals. Doesn’t this make you want to swing?

What does a moose do in the summertime? He finds himself among Forever Greenery Designer Paper! Follow along to see my inspiration, instructions, July offers, and Product List.
Summertime Moose
Moose Punch insisted I show you this photo, in case you believe he should only be used at holiday time.
Moose Punch thought he would be the perfect focal point in this week’s Global Design Project sketch.
He said I should write these instructions:
Cut Garden Green Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, fold in the middle at 4 1/4″, making your card base.
Cut two pieces of Forever Greenery Designer Paper, 3 3/4″ X 5″, and glue to the card base on an angle, like the sketch.
Using the Painted Labels Die, cut a circle from Garden Green Cardstock, and place it on Dimensionals.
Cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz Cardstock 3 1/2″ X 1″, and use the Banner Triple Punch to cut the left side.
The sentiment, “time for a new adventure,” is from the Well Said Stamp Set. Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso Ink, give it texture with the Subtle Textured Embossing Folder, and glue to the circle.
Now for the moose! Use the Moose Punch to cut him from In Good Taste Designer Paper, in a wood patterned design. Punch three more moose from Early Espresso Cardstock, and glue them together, making the moose look like a wood carving. Place him on Dimensionals, and your card is complete!

Remember the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set from last season’s Sale-A-Bration? Remember when I told you there was a new stamp set to go with the Small Bloom Punch? Well, here it is, Basket Of Blooms! I didn’t use the basket on today’s card, but you can see the complete stamp set in my Product List below.
Small Blooms
Today’s Step-by-Step Instructions:
Cut Thick Whisper White Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, fold in the middle at 4 1/4″ to make your card base.
Cut regular weight, Whisper White Cardstock to 4″ X 5 1/4″. Emboss with the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder, and adhere to the card base.
Use the third largest Stitched Rectangles Die to cut regular weight, Whisper White Cardstock, and adhere to the middle of the card front.
Stamp the vase from the Basket Of Blooms stamp set in Bermuda Bay Ink, and paint in the water with a Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend. Fussy cut with Paper Snips.
Stamp the pot in Pumpkin Pie Ink, and color with Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends. Decorate the clay pot by stamping the string in Memento Black Ink, and fussy cut.
The punched flowers have two patterns. Stamp four in Daffodil Delight Ink, and one in Poppy Parade Ink. The black center in the yellow flowers is from the retired Thoughtful Blooms set, but you can improvise if you don’t have it.
The sentiment provides a nice shelf for the floral display. Stamp “birthday wishes,” from the Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set in Memento Black Ink, and cut with the smallest Stitched Rectangles Die.
Glue two yellow flowers flat, and place everything else on Dimensionals. Arrange, and you’re ready to send someone birthday wishes!

Pets & Friends
Instructions
Cut Whisper White Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, fold in the middle at 4 1/4″, making your card base.
Cut Flirty Flamingo, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and glue this layer to the card base.
The next layer is a print from Neutrals 6X6 Designer Paper in Basic Gray. Cut it 1/8″ smaller that the previous Flirty Flamingo layer. I find this to be the easiest way to measure, giving a nice 1/16th” border.
Cut a panel of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock, 2 1/4″ X 4 1/2″, top it with Neutrals 6X6 Designer Paper, 1/8″ smaller, and glue to the card front.
The sentiment, “to the best friend a girl could ever ask for,” is from the Meant To Be Stamp Set. Stamp it in Memento Black Ink, and cut with a Rectangles Stitched Die.
Fussy cut the cute, Yorkie, from the Playful Pets Designer Paper, and glue her to the sentiment label. Attach the label with Dimensionals, and your card is ready to send to your friend.

Let’s make a square card using the Special Someone Stamp Set! This little mouse is so cute, and he’s wanting to send someone a get well wish.
Special Heal-ium
Instructions
Cut Thick Whisper White Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 4 1/4″, fold in the middle at 4 1/4″, making your square card base.
Cut Whisper White Cardstock to 4″ X 4″, and emboss with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. Glue this layer to your card base.
Use the largest Layering Squares Die (scalloped) to cut a square from Smoky Slate Cardstock.
Use the second largest Layering Squares Die (scalloped) to cut a square from Subtles 6X6 Designer Paper in So Saffron.
Stamp “This balloon is special…” in Memento Black Ink on the upper right corner of the DSP, and the balloon string in the middle of the DSP.
Glue the two scalloped squares together, and attach to the card front with Dimensionals.
Stamp the mouse in Memento Black Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, using the Stamparatus.
TIP: Carefully place his solid stamp on top of him (use your reading glasses), and color the stamp on the Stamparatus lid in Smoky Slate Ink. Bring the lid down the first time on a piece of scratch paper. Stamp the mouse the second time, which will give him a lighter color. This is how you can “stamp off” using the Stamparatus.
Stamp the balloon in Bumblebee Ink, and use the same method for coloring the balloon as above.
Use the mouse and balloon Special Day Dies for cutting, and place on Dimensionals.
To complete the sentiment, stamp “it’s filled with heal-ium” in Memento Black Ink, and cut with a Stitched So Sweetly Die. Place the sentiment on Dimensionals, tucking it under the lower left corner.
Wasn’t it fun making a square card? This size is really nice, because it fits in our medium envelopes.

A card sketch combined with a photograph can lead to an interesting card, which happened today. You can see my inspiration photo below, along with my instructions, supplies, and July offers.
A Dozen Flowers
Instructions
Cut Soft Sea Foam Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, fold in the middle at 4 1/4″, making your card base.
Cut a layer of Soft Sea Foam Cardstock with the largest Stitched Rectangles Die, and glue this layer to your card base.
Using the smallest square die from Stitched Shapes, cut twelve squares from Whisper White Cardstock.
The flower is from the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set. Stamp it, randomly, on the squares in three colors of ink: Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, and So Saffron. Each color gets four squares, which you glue to the Soft Sea Foam layer, alternating the colors with a tiny separation between them.
Add color to the flowers with Stampin’ Blends in three colors: Light Petal Pink, Light Flirty Flamingo, and Light Daffodil Delight. TIP: Leave plenty of white space on the petals.
The sentiment is from the Daisy Lane Stamp Set. Stamp it in Memento Black Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, and cut with the smallest Stitched Rectangles Die. Place it on Mini Dimensionals as shown.
